DRIVE BELT, USE OF A DRIVE BELT OF THIS TYPE AS A V-RIBBED BELT, AND PRODUCTION METHOD
The invention relates to a drive belt (1) having a main body into which one or more tension strands (3) composed of para-aramid in cord construction are embedded, wherein each tension strand (3) has twisted plies each formed from at least one twisted yarn, and wherein the turning direction of the respective ply (first twist) is the opposite of the turning direction of the cord (final twist).
It is a feature of the invention that the tension strands (3) each have at least four plies, wherein the twist factor TM.sub.1 of the plies (first twist) is between 4.5 and 5.4, and the twist factor TM.sub.2 of the cord (final twist) is between 2.7 and 3.8, and the ratio of the twist factor of the plies to the twist factor of the cord (TM.sub.1/TM.sub.2) is between 1.3 and 1.5.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND RUBBER REINFORCING MATERIAL
The present invention relates to an adhesive composition including a latex (A), a polyurethane (B), an amine-based adhesion promoter (C), and a water-containing solvent (G). The composition is eco-friendly, has a low risk of fire, and has excellent adhesive strength.
CONDUCTIVE YARN AND ARTICLE HAVING WIRING LINE THAT IS FORMED OF CONDUCTIVE YARN
[Problem] To provide a conductive yarn which has conductivity that exhibits durability in terms of deformation and tensile force, while being free from the occurrence of twisting or slacking during sewing. The present invention is capable of providing an article that is provided with a flexible wiring line having a free shape by means of an easy method of sewing.
[Solution] A conductive yarn which is characterized by comprising a non-twisted high-strength filament yarn, a first conductive filament yarn that covers the high-strength filament yarn with a Z twist, and a second conductive filament yarn that covers the high-strength filament yarn with an S twist. In addition, an article which has a wiring line that is formed of this conductive yarn.
TWISTED WIRE MANUFACTURING METHOD
A twisted wire manufacturing method for manufacturing a twisted wire, includes hanging U-turn portions of the at least two wires on a wire hanging member, checking one end portions and the other end portions of the at least two wires, pulling up the at least two wires in a state that the U-turn portions are hung on the wire hanging member, twisting the at least two wires together after the wire pull-up step is conducted, and transferring a twist-completed wire produced by the wire twisting step to a twisted wire temporary placement hook which is disposed above the wire hanging member.
COTTON-BASED ELASTICISED YARNS TO MAKE ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY ELASTICISED FABRICS
A method is disclosed for making an elastic core yarn (50), wherein an elastic core (30) comprising a fibre (10) of natural rubber with metric count 200-1000 dtex is covered by a cotton-based covering yarn (40), comprises a step of conveying the elastic core (30) and the covering yarn (40) in such a way that the covering yarn (40) laterally attains a proximity of the elastic core (30) in a wrapping space (35); a step of helically wrapping the covering yarn (40) about the elastic core (30) in a wrapping space (35), wherein the conveying speed, and therefore the winding/unwinding speed, is selected such that the elastic core (30) is stretched up to a stretching ratio of at least 2, and such that, during this wrapping step, the covering yarn (40) becomes twisted with a final twist direction opposite to its initial twist direction, and forms a number T of coils per length unit of the elastic fibre (10) set between a predetermined minimum value T.sub.0 and a predetermined maximum value T.sub.1 both depending on the linear mass density Nm of covering yarn (40), the wrapping space (35) being enclosed by a container (67). An elasticised yarn obtained this way, and a fabric, in particular a denim type fabric, manufactured from this yarn.
Method for starting a spindle of a cabling or two-for-one twisting machine
A method for starting a spindle of a cabling or two-for-one twisting machine, wherein a yarn reserve is formed on a take-up package, the machine has a workstation having a spindle pot for holding a first feed package and having a spindle rotor with a lateral outlet below the spindle pot, an outer yarn from one feed package is wound around an inner yarn from another feed package and the outer yarn is guided through the spindle shaft and its lateral outlet in a balloon orbiting the spindle pot to a yarn-guiding device above the spindle which merges the two yarn supplies, and a winding device in which the produced twist is wound onto the take-up package. A ratio of the take-up speed of the twist to the rotation speed of the spindle rotor is increased in comparison with the production data is used during creation of the yarn reserve.
Multilayer structured fabric and fiber product
A task is to provide a multilayer structured cloth and a fiber product which are excellent in lightweight properties for bulkiness, impressive soft texture, high cushioning properties, low draping properties, and sweat absorbing and quick drying properties, and the task is achieved by a multilayer structured cloth including front and back ground structure portions, a connecting yarn which connects the front and back ground structure portions to each other, and an insert yarn, wherein at least one of the front and back ground structure portions contains a crimped fiber or a spun yarn.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITION, RUBERR REINFORCING MATERIAL AND ARTICLE
The present application relates to an adhesive composition including a naturally occurring acid, a nitrogen compound, and a latex; and a rubber reinforcing material and an article including the same.
YARN, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING YARN AND PRODUCTS FORMED THEREFROM
Yarns include one or more strands, each strand including an outer twisted with a continuous or substantially continuous core, the outer including coarse wool fibres. The coarse wool has average fibre diameter greater than 26 microns. The yarn may be worsted or semi-worsted. Fabrics and/or garments may be produced from the yarn.
