There is provided a method of manufacturing a woven textile, in which a plurality of warp yarns is interlaced with a plurality of weft yarns. A selvedge is formed by interlacing a first subset of the warp yarns with a first subset of the weft yarns and interlacing a second subset of the warp yarns with a second subset of the weft yarns. The first subset of the warp yarns is not interlaced with the second subset of the weft yarns and the second subset of the warp yarns is not interlaced with the first subset of the weft yarns. The method may be used to manufacture a multilayer textile.

There is provided a method of manufacturing a woven textile, in which a plurality of warp yarns is interlaced with a plurality of weft yarns. A selvedge is formed by interlacing a first subset of the warp yarns with a first subset of the weft yarns and interlacing a second subset of the warp yarns with a second subset of the weft yarns. The first subset of the warp yarns is not interlaced with the second subset of the weft yarns and the second subset of the warp yarns is not interlaced with the first subset of the weft yarns. The method may be used to manufacture a multilayer textile.

The invention addresses the problem of providing a cloth and a protective product, which are excellent not only in flame retardancy but also in protection performance against electric arcs, and can further be provided with any color appearance. As a means for resolution, in a cloth including a flame-retardant fiber, a UV absorber or carbon particles are contained in the cloth, and the cloth is configured to have a lightness index L-value of 25 or more.
Multi-ply woven gauze fabric
A multi-ply woven gauze that has loft, a soft texture, and superior heat retention, permeation resistance, and lightness of weight. The multi-ply woven gauze includes a front surface layer formed with a plain-weave structure, an intermediate layer formed with a waffle-weave structure, and a rear surface layer formed with a plain-weave structure. The front surface layer and the intermediate layer are joined together, and the rear surface layer and the intermediate layer are joined together. Wrinkles form at the connections between the front surface layer and the rear surface layer due to the difference in contraction between the plain-weave structures and the waffle-weave structure. The intermediate layer is formed from at least one layer. The weave density of a single layer in the intermediate layer is equal to or half the weave density of the front surface layer and the rear layer.
WOVEN FABRIC FOR SWIMWEAR AND SWIMWEAR USING SAME
There is provided swimwear which satisfies the stretchability, strength, ease of movement, and the like desired for swimwear, has superior water repellency, and reduces friction resistance between a surface of the swimwear and water. The woven fabric for swimwear according to the present invention has a weave structure in which covering coated threads are arranged in at least a part of a warp or weft yarn, the covering coated threads each including an elastic fiber as a core yarn and a synthetic fiber filament as a sheath yarn, where, in a woven fabric structure, one of the warp yarn and the weft yarn has a larger number of float yarns. A direction with a large number of float yarns is defined as a body length (height) direction of the swimwear, a ratio of resistance yarn in a direction perpendicular to the body length (height) direction is 40% or less. The woven fabric is suitably used for swimwear.
