Method of weaving of a pile fabric with pile-free zones
A method for weaving pile fabrics with pile-free zones, in which, on a weaving loom, in successive series of at least two successive weft insertion cycles in each case at least one ground weft thread (1) and at least two effect weft threads (2),(3) having mutually different appearance-determining properties are inserted at well-defined weft-insertion levels, in which the effect weft threads (2),(3) in each series are inserted in successive weft insertion cycles, and in which, in order to create a predetermined effect in at least one pile-free zone, the warp threads (4-7); (12-22); (101-104) are positioned with respect to the weft insertion levels such that at least one effect weft thread (2),(3) runs on the pile side substantially uncovered.

HEAT SINK WITH CARBON-NANOSTRUCTURE-BASED FIBRES
The invention relates to a heat sink (1) having a main body (2) and a plurality of carbon-nanostructure-based fibres (CNB, 3), more particularly carbon nano tubes (CNT, 4) or graphene fibres, of which at least some are attached to the main body (2). According to the invention, the fibres (3, 4), by adhering to or supporting one another, form a volume structure (12), more particularly in the manner of cotton wool, felt or a spun yarn, or the fibres (3, 4) form loops (6) or a three-dimensional woven fabric.
Weaving machine, method for simultaneously weaving two pile fabrics on such a machine and pile fabric obtainable with such a method
This weaving machine (2) is for simultaneously weaving top and bottom pile fabrics (F2, F4) presenting some pile patterns (P2, P2′, P4) and including tufts, made from warp yarns (24), binding warp yarns (14, 16) and inwoven weft yarns. This machine includes a pile warp yarns feeding unit (20), a binding warp yarns feeding unit (18), a shedding unit (6) and a weft insertion unit (8) for inserting the weft yarns in the shed. The machine also includes a beating-up mechanism (32), a take up system (70), a drawing-in unit (26), and a control unit (80). A treatment unit (90) is located, along a path of the pile warp yarns (24), between the pile warp yarns feeding unit (20) and the shedding unit (6), for applying different segments of treatment on at least some of the pile warp yarns (24).

Method of manufacturing velvet plush and article thereof
A method of manufacturing a velvet plush article includes the steps of: weaving a greige cloth by interweaving face yarns and backing yarns, wherein the face yarns are selected from single-ply bright trilobal yarns and two-ply yarns and the backing yarns are selected from FDY or DTY yarn: pre-processing the greige cloth by brushing, first setting, singeing and second setting the greige cloth sequentially; dyeing and/or printing the greige cloth; and finishing the greige cloth by softening, drying, brushing, sentering, heat-setting, singeing, shearing and final heat-setting the greige cloth. Accordingly, a velvet plush article having a superior smoothness and softness for providing a superior touch and feel comfort is achieved. The velvet plush article may be a velvet plush throw or blanket, or a velvet plush cloth for further processing.

Method for weaving pile fabrics and pile fabric woven with such a method
A method for simultaneously weaving, on a face-to-face weaving machine, two pile fabrics each including an area with and without pile. For a pick corresponding to the area without pile, a dead pile thread is placed between the backing fabric and a patterning weft and a dead pile thread is placed opposite the backing fabric with respect to the same patterning weft. An additional fabric is formed in the area without pile by the first and second dead pile threads woven with the patterning wefts, this additional fabric covering the backing fabric.
