A shed forming device for a weaving machine, comprising a working space (3) in which shed forming systems having selection means for the positioning of warp threads are provided, and ventilation means (7) to create an air flow (A) in this working space (3), wherein the ventilation means (7) interact with regulating means (8, 9, 10) for automatically regulating the air flow rate as a function of at least one of the following measured parameters: the flow rate and the velocity of the air flow (A) and the air pressure in the working space (3). As a result, the air flow rate can be rapidly adapted to changing conditions and can always be appropriate for efficient cooling and for creation of an overpressure.

A guide device including a guide (1) with one or more guide elements (2) for guiding a rapier bar (3) in a rapier weaving machine, wherein this guide device is provided with an air circuit (5) through which compressed air can flow and which is provided with perforations (7) for cooling the rapier bar (3) by compressed air, and wherein this guide device is provided with a cooling circuit (8) through which coolant can flow for cooling the rapier bar (3) by coolant. The present invention relates to a guide device comprising a guide (1) with one or more guide elements (2) for guiding a rapier bar (3) in a rapier weaving machine, wherein this guide device is provided with an air circuit (5) through which compressed air can flow and which is provided with perforations (7) for cooling the rapier bar (3) by means of compressed air, and wherein this guide device is provided with a cooling circuit (8) through which coolant can flow for cooling the rapier bar (3) by means of coolant. In addition, the present invention relates to an assembly of a rapier bar (3), drive means (4) and such a guide device. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a rapier weaving machine comprising such an assembly.

A device (1) equipped with pattern-controlled components (2) for pattern-controlled feeding and/or selection of yarn for a textile machine, comprising a plurality of actuators (4) and a cooling circuit (5, 8) through which coolant is flowable for the cooling of the actuators (4), whereby the actuators (4) in the device (1) are installed alongside the cooling circuit (5, 8) and are mountable so as to be detachable so that the actuators can be removed without interrupting the cooling circuit (5, 8). Furthermore, a textile machine comprising such a device (1).
