Weaving machine and corresponding weaving method
ABSTRACT This weaving machine (2) includes a structure (4) able to support a plurality of warp threads (16) extending in a first direction, a heddles mechanism (18) capable of selectively moving at least some of the plurality of warp threads (16) to form first and second sheets (28, 30) of warp threads, and at least one weft-thread feed spool (38). The weaving machine (2) also includes at least one support shuttle (44) for the feed spool and an actuating device (32) able to control a movement of the shuttle (44) between the first and second sheets (28, 30) of warp threads in at least one second direction transverse to the first direction, in both senses relative to the second direction, to continuously lay the weft thread (43) coming from the feed spool (38) between the sheets (28, 30) and in the second direction.

Weaving equipment
Weaving equipment may include warp strand positioning equipment that positions warp strands and weft strand positioning equipment that inserts weft strands among the warp strands to form fabric. The fabric may include insulating strands and conductive strands. The conductive strands may be coupled to electrical devices using solder joints or other conductive connections. During weaving, an electrically controlled shuttle may dispense weft strands between warp strands. The electrically controlled shuttle may include control circuitry and communications circuitry. The communications circuitry may be used to support communications between the control circuitry and equipment external to the shuttle. Movable arms, cutters, heaters, soldering devices, strand dispensers, intertwining devices, and other electrically controlled devices may be incorporated into the shuttle and controlled by control signals from the control circuitry.

Systems and methods for creating three-dimensional woven textile products
Described herein are techniques for creating a three-dimensional woven textile products. A method includes rotating strands of warp yarns, where each strand of warp yarn is in a direction away from a surface, in a circular motion while moving a strand of weft yarn forwards and backwards in a direction parallel to the surface so as to cause the strand of weft yarn to alternately weave in and out of the strands of warp yarn. The method includes moving the strand of weft yarn in a direction away from the surface so as to cause the strand of weft yarn to alternately weave in and out of the strands of warp yarn at a different height to create a three-dimensional woven textile product. The method includes supplying at least one of the strand of warp yarn or the strand of weft yarn with a yarn generator.
