METHOD FOR PROVIDING SEMI-FINISHED TUBULAR MANUFACTURED ARTICLES TO BE CLOSED BY STITCHING AT AN AXIAL END THEREOF FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SOCKS, AND SEMI-FINISHED TUBULAR MANUFACTURED ARTICLE OBTAINED WITH THE METHOD
A method for providing semi-finished tubular manufactured articles to be closed by stitching at an axial end thereof for the production of socks, comprising a step of providing the body of the tubular manufactured article and a step of providing an end portion of the tubular manufactured article which comprises: —a step of providing an intermediate band connected to the body of the manufactured article and thinner than the thickness at least of the rows of knitting of the body of the manufactured article which are connected to the intermediate band; —a step of providing an end edge thicker than the thickness of the intermediate band; the height of the intermediate band, proximate to the regions that constitute the lateral ends of the two flaps of the end portion to be overlapped in order to stitch the axial end to be closed of the tubular manufactured article, is lower than the height of the remaining part of the intermediate band.

EASILY SETTABLE STRETCH FABRICS INCLUDING LOW-MELT FIBER
The present invention provides an easy settable stretch fabric comprising three types of yarns: a rigid fiber, an elastic fiber, and a low-melt fiber, wherein the low-melt fiber comprises low-melt polymer which can be fused in the temperature between 60° C. to 200° C., being higher than the temperature used for normal textile process and household laundry, but lower than the temperature used for heat setting elastic fiber. The low-melt fiber can be selected from a group of fibers made from modified polyester, nylon, and polypropylene and the copolymer from them in the form of staple or filament.
SENSORS, INTERFACES AND SENSOR SYSTEMS FOR DATA COLLECTION AND INTEGRATED MONITORING OF CONDITIONS AT OR NEAR BODY SURFACES
Sensing devices including sensors such as flexible and stretchable fabric-based pressure sensors, may be associated with or incorporated in garments, such as socks, intended to be worn against a body surface (directly or indirectly). Specific manifestations of a sensing system incorporated in a sock substrate are described in detail. Dedicated electronic devices interface electrically with sensors through intermediate conductive traces, optional conductive bridges, conductive contacts provided in a mounting tab.
CONTAINING FABRIC, GARMENTS COMPRISING SUCH FABRIC, AND RELATED PRODUCTION METHODS
A restraining fabric includes at least one stretch portion having a plurality of stitches of at least one ground yarn and at least one elastic yarn. In which, next to at least part of the stretch portion, a restraining portion extends in which first groups of one or more first stitches including the at least one main yarn alternate with second groups of one or more second stitches having a restraining yarn, such that at each of the first stitches a floating length of the restraining yarn extends and at each of the second stitches a floating length of the main yarn extends. The Restraining garments containing the fabric and the method of manufacturing the fabric and garments are also provided for.

KNIT SOCK WITH TARGETED COMPRESSION ZONES, AND METHOD FOR LIFTING AND STRETCHING THE PLANTAR FASCIA
A knit sock is integrally formed of a body yarn in circumferential courses and axial wales, and includes a foot portion having a heel and a toe, and an ankle portion joined to the foot portion and defining an open leg end of the sock. A first targeted compression zone is formed with the foot portion between the heel and the toe, and includes spaced-apart axial compression ridges extending axially outward from the heel at a first end of the first compression zone to a second end of the first compression zone. A second targeted compression zone is formed with the ankle portion between the heel and the open leg end of the sock, and includes spaced-apart axial compression ridges extending axially outward from the heel at a first end of the second compression zone to a second end of the second compression zone.

Compression fabrics with tailored comfort
Certain embodiments according to the invention provide compression articles suitable for a wide variety of uses (e.g., compression socks, athletic garments, etc.). In accordance with certain embodiments, the compression article includes at least two uniform compression regions, including a first uniform compression region having a first compression pressure and a second uniform compression region having a second compression pressure, and at least one transitioning compression region, including a first transitioning compression region positioned between the first and second uniform compression regions. The first transitioning compression region comprises a first end adjacent or proximate to the first uniform compression region and a second end adjacent or proximate to the second uniform compression region. The first transitioning compression region comprises a compression pressure gradient extending from the first end to the second end of the first transitioning compression region.
Method for manufacturing integral shoe blank
A method for manufacturing an integral shoe blank is provided. In the method, a reinforcement piece is woven by a flat knitting machine during a weave process, and the reinforcement piece is made unperceivable through a subsequent side overturning step when viewing from an exterior of a shoe. Thus, with the reinforcement piece, structural strength of the shoe blank is reinforced while better comfort is provided to the foot by a shoe manufactured from the shoe blank.
