METHOD FOR PRODUCING UNIDIRECTIONAL HYBRID-BRAIDED FABRICS
The present invention discloses a method for producing unidirectional hybrid-braided fabrics, including: preparing a first layer of 0° warps; preparing a second layer of 0° warps to a Nth layer of 0° warps; preparing an auxiliary layer of wefts; preparing binding yarns; laying and hybrid-braiding the materials prepared in steps 1-4 to obtain unidirectional hybrid-braided fabrics; and cutting and winding. The 0° warps and wefts of the invention are made of two or more layers of different fibers that are laid in a single direction and finally hybrid-braided. Therefore, two or more different types of materials can be laid, thereby ensuring the uniform distribution and thickness of the fibers in different areas of the hybrid-braided fabric. The grammage of different 0° warp fiber layers can be adjusted freely in a range of 30-3000 grams/m.sup.2, thereby realizing performance and cost designability of a composite material.

Yarn Tensioning Device
A yarn tensioning device capable of delivering yarn under tension from a spool to a braiding, weaving or knitting machine consisting of a base and a center rod mounted perpendicular to the said base serving to locates the spool while allowing it to pivotally rotate. The device further includes a pawl jointed to the base either via a pin joint or via a flexural hinge and operates in conjunction with a ratchet solidly attached to the spool. The device further includes a compliant yarn guiding means which ensure that yarn reels off at an essentially constant tension. The yarn reel-off tension can be adjusted by modifying the operating length of a stiffening spring using a screw and jam-nut pair, and by limiting the maximum deflection of the compliant yarn guiding means.
YARN CARRIER DEVICE WITH YARN TENSION CONTROL FUNCTION FOR FLAT KNITTING MACHINE, AND YARN TENSION CONTROL METHOD
A yarn tension control method includes a bobbin ascending or descending on sliding rails on a yarn carrier module. When the pattern is designed, the ascending or descending speed, time and distance of the fixing frame is calculated directly according to a yarn carrier stop, the quantity of redundant yarn and the speed of the carriage. When the carriage contacts a yarn carrier, a contact sensor feeds a signal back to the carriage, a signal emitter emits an instruction, and when a signal receiver receives the instruction, the fixing frame is controlled to ascend along the sliding rails. When the carriage drives the yarn carrier to enter a knitting area, needles are elected by a needle selection electromagnetic valve, knitting motion information is fed back to the carriage, the signal emitter emits an instruction, and when the signal receiver receives the instruction, the fixing frame is controlled to descend.

Yarn carrier device with yarn tension control function for flat knitting machine, and yarn tension control method
This application relates to a yarn carrier device with a yarn tension control function for a flat knitting machine, and a yarn tension control method. At the moment a carriage is connected to a yarn carrier device, a fixing frame carrying a bobbin ascends or descends on sliding rails installed on the yarn carrier device. The ascending or descending speed, time and distance of the fixing frame can be calculated directly according to a yarn carrier stop, the quantity of an unknitted portion of the yarn and the speed of the carriage. When the carriage contacts a yarn carrier, the fixing frame is controlled to ascend along the sliding rails. When the carriage drives the yarn carrier to enter a knitting area, the fixing frame is controlled to descend.
