The first mounting portion has a first groove opening downward, and the second mounting portion has a second groove opening downward. The presser foot has a presser plate, a first opposing portion, a second opposing portion, a first pin, a first protruding portion, a second pin, and a second protruding portion. An opening is formed in the presser plate. The first pin is configured to rotatably fit into the first groove. The second pin is configured to rotatably fit into the second groove.

An upper feed device includes a main body portion configured to be mounted to a presser bar of a sewing machine, and a presser foot configured to be detachably mounted to the main body portion. The main body portion has an upper feed dog, a first mounting portion, and a second mounting portion. The first mounting portion has a first groove opening downward, and the second mounting portion has a second groove opening downward. The presser foot has a presser plate, a first opposing portion, a second opposing portion, a first pin, a first protruding portion, a second pin, and a second protruding portion. An opening is formed in the presser plate. The first pin is configured to rotatably fit into the first groove. The second pin is configured to rotatably fit into the second groove.

A presser foot tube maker apparatus includes a hollow form with a first end and a second end and an inside and an outside and a presser foot configured for attachment to a sewing machine. And an adjustment base is provided where the hollow form is connected with the adjustment base and where the presser foot is connected with the adjustment base such that location of the hollow form and the presser foot relative to the adjustment base is adjustable.

A presser foot tube maker apparatus includes a hollow form with a first end and a second end and an inside and an outside and a presser foot configured for attachment to a sewing machine. And an adjustment base is provided where the hollow form is connected with the adjustment base and where the presser foot is connected with the adjustment base such that location of the hollow form and the presser foot relative to the adjustment base is adjustable.

A presser foot position retainer includes a presser foot and a restricting member. The presser foot is swingably attachable to a presser holder of a sewing machine. The presser foot includes a shaft extending in an axial direction, a restricted portion, and a pressing surface configured to press a workpiece. The restricting member includes a restricting portion capable of contacting the restricted portion. The restricting member is attachable to the presser holder. The restricting member is configured to move between a first position and a second position by a user operation. When the restricting member is located at the second position, the restricting portion is in contact with the restricted portion to limit a swingable range within which the presser foot attached to the presser holder is swingable about the shaft to less than that when the restricting member is located at the first position.

A presser foot position retainer includes a presser foot and a restricting member. The presser foot is swingably attachable to a presser holder of a sewing machine. The presser foot includes a shaft extending in an axial direction, a restricted portion, and a pressing surface configured to press a workpiece. The restricting member includes a restricting portion capable of contacting the restricted portion. The restricting member is attachable to the presser holder. The restricting member is configured to move between a first position and a second position by a user operation. When the restricting member is located at the second position, the restricting portion is in contact with the restricted portion to limit a swingable range within which the presser foot attached to the presser holder is swingable about the shaft to less than that when the restricting member is located at the first position.

A hopping foot assembly for a sewing machine having a needle comprises a hopping foot base and a hopping foot arm extends axially from the hopping foot base relative to an axis. The hopping foot base is shaped to include an opening that extends axially through the hopping foot base relative to the axis. The hopping foot arm is configured to be coupled to the sewing machine to fix the hopping foot base relative to the sewing machine.

A hopping foot assembly for a sewing machine having a needle comprises a hopping foot base and a hopping foot arm extends axially from the hopping foot base relative to an axis. The hopping foot base is shaped to include an opening that extends axially through the hopping foot base relative to the axis. The hopping foot arm is configured to be coupled to the sewing machine to fix the hopping foot base relative to the sewing machine.

A pressing device includes a first member including an attaching portion attachable to a presser bar and being configured to move in an up-down direction together with the presser bar urged downward; a second member including a contact portion contactable to a pressing portion including at least a portion of the first member or at least a portion of the presser bar and being configured to support a presser foot capable of downwardly pressing a workpiece on a bed, and in a state where the first member is attached to the presser bar and the second member supports the presser foot, move between a first position where the contact portion is in contact with the pressing portion and a second position where the contact portion is spaced from the pressing portion; and a first guide portion configured to guide movement of the second member relative to the first member.

A pressing device includes a first member including an attaching portion attachable to a presser bar and being configured to move in an up-down direction together with the presser bar urged downward; a second member including a contact portion contactable to a pressing portion including at least a portion of the first member or at least a portion of the presser bar and being configured to support a presser foot capable of downwardly pressing a workpiece on a bed, and in a state where the first member is attached to the presser bar and the second member supports the presser foot, move between a first position where the contact portion is in contact with the pressing portion and a second position where the contact portion is spaced from the pressing portion; and a first guide portion configured to guide movement of the second member relative to the first member.
