Disclosed herein is a ruching tape comprising a flexible elastic ruching strip having a back surface configured to removably adhere to a textile and a non-adhesive front surface, the ruching strip having a length, a width in the range of about 3-30 mm, a thickness in the range of 0.1 to 2 mm, and an elastic extensibility in a direction parallel to the length in the range of about 10 to about 300 percent when manually pulled by a user. Corresponding systems and methods also are disclosed.

There is disclosed a bag for the transport and storage of bulk goods or liquids formed by the assembly of several double-thickness pieces of fabric, including first and second pieces of fabric, each having opposite first and second sides extending between first and second folded-in flattened edges. Each piece of fabric includes at least one gusset defined by a first oblique section extending between the first folded-in flattened edge and a first gusset end positioned on the second side of the piece of fabric and a second gusset end positioned on the first side of the piece of fabric. A device configured to manufacture a layered weighted yarn includes a formation channel configured to receive a first material and a second material; and a sewing machine including at least one needle, the sewing machine configured to sew a seam on the first material. The formation channel being further configured to receive the first material and form the first material into an outer tube; receive the second material and insert the second material into the outer tube; locate the first material in a position to be sewn by the sewing machine to form the seam on the outer tube; and discharge the outer tube including the first material and the second material inserted into the outer tube as a layered weighted yarn.

The present invention relates to a method for production of bags for the transport and storage of bulk goods or liquids, wherein use is made of tubular fabric cut into several pieces, which are then assembled together, including the steps of: providing a tubular fabric; flattening the tubular fabric to form a first double-thickness fabric having two opposite sides, respectively an internal side and an external side, extending between two flattened edges; folding-in or pleating at least one of the flattened edges of the double-thickness fabric to form a gusset; cutting the tubular fabric into pieces and assembling the pieces to form a bag; wherein the assembly of two of the pieces includes the steps of: assembling the first and second pieces by means of seams formed around or near first to fourth gusset ends.
