Color-changing fabric having printed pattern

A color-changing product includes a fabric. The fabric includes a first layer and a second layer. The first layer is arranged using at least one fiber. The at least one fiber includes (a) an electrically conductive core and (b) a coating disposed around and along the electrically conductive core. The second layer is printed onto the first layer. The second layer includes a foreground thermochromic pigment that is selectively activatable by providing an electrical current to the electrically conductive core of the at least one fiber to change at least one of a foreground color or a pattern of the second layer.

Systems and methods for producing printed goods from textile material to address shortcoming of existing approaches for article production. According to the systems and methods described herein, the harvested and woven cotton may be shipped directly to garment decorators who may perform all remaining steps to provide customers with finished goods. As such, the systems and methods herein may eliminate the steps of the blank goods trade and current manufacturing processes.

PRINTING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR PRINTING TEXTILES

Method and apparatus for embossing a substrate

An apparatus and method for embossing a substrate are disclosed. For example, the apparatus includes an embossing platform, a printhead to dispense ink on the embossing platform in a desired raised pattern on the embossing platform, a press to apply a load against a substrate placed on the desired raised pattern and the embossing platform to emboss the desired raised pattern onto the substrate, and an ink removal device to remove the ink that is dispensed on the embossing platform in the desired raised pattern.

Method for Manufacturing Fabric with High-efficiency and High-precision Flat Screen and Digital Printed Patterns with Energy Saving and Emission-reduction Effect
20220213630 · 2022-07-07 ·

A method for manufacturing fabric with flat screen and digital printed patterns includes: singeing, pretreatment, flat screen scraping sizing, drying, pattern printing, humidification, steaming treatment, washing, and non-ironing and soft setting. The pretreatment is a biological enzyme pretreatment process including: cloth feeding at 75° C., dipping, scouring and bleaching in a working fluid, heating to 90° C. for treatment of 30 minutes, draining, hot water washing and cold water washing. A shortened process flow can be realized, and the positioned sizing that uses a flat screen to scrape a sizing agent to a pattern position to be digital spray-printed on instead of traditional full-width sizing for sizing and printing, which greatly reduces the amount of sizing agent used, lowers production cost and reduces waste water pollution, and solves problem that the fabric is mottled caused by the application of sizing agent in areas without printed pattern due to full-width sizing.

Dispersible wet wipes constructed with patterned binder

A dispersible wet wipe includes a layer of cellulosic fibers. In one embodiment, a first binder is applied in a coating comprising randomly distributed deposits of the binder. A second binder is applied in an intermittent pattern on the surface to define first regions on the surface that include first binder but no second binder and to define second regions on the surface that include both first binder and second binder. The first and second binders can have the same chemical composition. In a second embodiment, a first binder is applied to a web surface in a first pattern, and, after applying the first binder, a second binder is applied to the web surface in a second pattern that is different than the first pattern. In a third embodiment, a binder is applied to a web surface in a pattern, the pattern having first regions and second regions, wherein the add-on level of the binder in the first regions is lower than the add-on level of the binder in the second regions.

Dye applicator for dyeing articles, a dye application kit, and a method for manufacturing the same

A dye applicator for dyeing materials, a dye application kit, and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The dye application kit has at least one container containing a dye applicator being at least partially fibrous and infused with a dry water-soluble dye, the dye being transferrable to an adjacent article in the presence of water.

Textile product having latent image that slowly appears following repeated washings

A textile product is disclosed having a latent image created from water-based ink which is applied using a screen printing process. The image is thereafter hidden underneath a second image created from a plasticizing emulsion such as plastisol which is partially cured. The partial cure causes a portion of the plasticizing emulsion to be removed from the textile product during washing and after repeated washings, the latent image becomes revealed.

Material blend with patterned fabric

A blended fabric having a patterned color includes a first portion comprised of cotton and a second portion comprised of polyester. A dye that has a strong affinity for cotton and a slight affinity for polyester is applied to the fabric. The dye gives the cotton portion a deep black color and applies a light gray color to the polyester portion. A combination of deep black cotton and light gray polyester combines to provide the patterned color of the blended fabric. The blended fabric may be comprised of a larger percentage of cotton than polyester that is spun into a single filament yarn that is then knitted into a Jersey Knit styled fabric, a looped knit terry fabric, or a fleece fabric. Further, the present invention comprises a blended fabric whereby dye absorption by the cotton and not by the polyester create darker and lighter patterns within the blended fabric.
