Laundry treating apparatus
A laundry treating apparatus has a cabinet, a laundry receiving space in the cabinet and providing a predetermined space for accommodate laundry. A laundry introduction opening in a front surface of the cabinet and communicating with the laundry receiving space, a door coupled to the cabinet and configured to open and close the laundry receiving space, a supply unit configured to supply at least one of air or water to the laundry receiving space, and a presser configured to form creases of pants or unfold wrinkles of pants. The presser has a housing on the laundry receiving space, a housing chamber in the housing and providing a space in which pants are secured thereto, a housing door rotatably coupled to the housing and configured to open and close the housing chamber, and a housing guide configured to withdraw the housing from the laundry receiving space through the laundry introduction opening.
Travel cycle for a condenser or heat pump dryer appliance
A dryer appliance and a method of operating the same are provided. In one aspect, the dryer appliance includes a drum rotatably mounted within a cabinet. The drum defines a chamber that is in fluid communication with a conditioning system of the dryer appliance that circulates heated air through the chamber. A controller is configured to receive a command to initiate an appliance travel cycle and implement a responsive action to prepare the dryer appliance for travel. The responsive action may be the automated adjustment of one or more operating parameters of the dryer appliance, such as performing a load sensing procedure, drying the chamber, closing the water supply valves, etc. In addition, the responsive action may include providing a user instruction to prepare the dryer appliance, e.g., by cleaning the lint filter, emptying the condensate collection tank, removing hoses and cables, addressing any error codes, etc.
Clothing treatment apparatus
A clothing treatment apparatus includes a cabinet which forms a treatment space for accommodating clothing, a duct in which an inside air channel which sucks inside air from the treatment space and guides the inside air to discharge the inside air to the treatment space, and an outside air channel which sucks outside air from an outer space of the cabinet and guides the outside air to discharge the outside air to the treatment space are preset, a fan which moves air in the duct, and (i) an opening and closing module which is operated to change whether or not a through-channel including at least one of an outside air inlet channel between the outer space and the outside air channel and (ii) an exhaust outlet channel between the treatment space and the outer space is blocked.
Clothes dryer
A clothes dryer includes a housing, a tumbler and a heat exchange component. The housing has an air cavity therein. The air cavity and the tumbler form a closed-loop air duct. A blower impeller for driving air to flow is provided in the housing. The heat exchange component comprises a compressor, a condenser and an evaporator. The compressor is used to compress a working medium into a high temperature and high pressure state, and the condenser communicates with the evaporator through a throttle capillary. The heat exchange component further includes a reversing valve. The reversing valve can switch between two modes through a remote control program. The clothes dryer can perform self-cleaning.
Domestic appliances activity monitoring systems and methods
Systems and methods for detecting activity include a first domestic appliance and a second domestic appliance. Such methods may include detecting a first interaction with one of the first domestic appliance and the second domestic appliance and increasing an activity counter by a first amount based on the first interaction. The methods also include detecting a second interaction with one of the first domestic appliance and the second domestic appliance and increasing the activity counter by a second amount based on the second interaction. The methods further include providing a user notification when the activity counter crosses a predetermined threshold.
Laundry treating apparatus
A laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet, and a laundry receiving space in the cabinet that provides a space for accommodate laundry. The presser includes a housing on the laundry receiving space, a housing chamber in the housing that provides a space in which pants are secured thereto, a housing door rotatably coupled to the housing and configured to open and close the housing chamber, and a housing guide configured to withdraw the housing from the laundry receiving space through the laundry introduction opening.
Automatic self-clean cycle prior to drying cycle in a laundry appliance
A laundry appliance includes a drum rotatably mounted within a cabinet and defining a chamber configured for receiving a load of clothes, a door pivotally mounted to the cabinet for providing selective access to the chamber, and a user interface for controlling operation of the laundry appliance. A controller is configured to monitor the number of wash cycles that have occurred in the laundry appliance since the last self-clean cycle. Once the laundry appliance reaches a predetermined number of wash cycles without an intervening self-clean cycle, an automatic self-clean cycle is initiated upon the next selection of a drying cycle by the user, wherein the drying cycle provides an indication that the chamber is empty of article of laundry and that the user has no further immediate washing needs. In these circumstances, the controller is configured to reconfigure the selected drying cycle into a combination cycle including a self-clean cycle which is automatically followed by the desired drying cycle.
Laundry appliance drum motor fault detection using a camera and artificial intelligence
A laundry appliance includes a camera for determining whether the drum is rotating during operation of the appliance. A controller is operably coupled to the camera. The controller is configured for obtaining one or more images of the drum during operation of the appliance. An artificial intelligence image recognition process is used to perform image classification and determine whether a drum rotation fault has occurred. In the event of a drum rotation fault, operation of the laundry appliance is adjusted.
Control method of washing machine and washing machine
The washing machine includes control buttons controlling the washing machine to operate, and the washing machine is controlled to be connected/disconnected with a WiFi/to enter in a WiFi configuration mode by obtaining a trigger duration of one of the control buttons. The washing machine is controlled to be connected/disconnected with the WiFi/to enter in the WiFi configuration mode through the trigger duration of the control buttons, which realizes connection controllability of the washing machine and the WiFi, a user can control whether the washing machine is connected with the WiFi and enters in the WiFi configuration mode to configure a connection of the washing machine and the WiFi according to his/her own needs, which avoids conditions that the washing machine is directly connected with the WiFi and the user controls the washing machine mistakenly, and the safety of remote control of the washing machine is improved.
