Optimizing soak time in a washing machine appliance
A method of operating a washing machine appliance is provided. The washing machine appliance includes a rotatable basket and a motor configured to drive the rotatable basket. The method includes sensing an attribute of articles in the basket. The method also includes determining a pause duration for an agitation operation based at least in part on the sensed attribute of the articles in the basket. The method further includes performing the agitation operation for a period of time. The agitation operation includes activating a motor of the washing machine appliance to agitate the articles within the basket for an agitation duration and deactivating the motor of the washing machine appliance for the pause duration. The period of time is equal to the sum of the agitation duration and the pause duration.

Washing Machine and Method for Washing Textiles
Described and illustrated is a washing machine for washing textiles, including a tub for receiving a washing liquid, a laundry drum inserted at least partially into the tub, a drive for rotating the laundry drum in the tub and a discharge line connected to the tub for discharging washing liquid from the tub. In order to be able to separate the microplastic fibres more easily, cost-effectively and reliably from the washing water or another washing liquid, it is provided that an intermediate storage device is provided for temporarily storing washing liquid discharged via the discharge line, a centrifuge unit rotated by the drive together with the laundry drum for separating microplastic fibres and a return line for transferring the washing liquid from the intermediate storage device into the centrifuge unit.

LAUNDRY APPLIANCE INCLUDING A FILTERING AGITATOR HAVING AN INTERNAL FLUID PUMPING STRUCTURE
A washing appliance includes a tub positioned within an outer cabinet. A rotating drum rotates within the tub. A fluid flow path directs fluid through the tub and the drum. A rotator selectively rotates relative to the drum to generate at least a toroidal flow of the wash fluid through the drum and a supplemental flow of the wash fluid through a filter assembly positioned within the rotator.

Laundry Additive Dispenser
A washing machine appliance having an improved additive dispenser is provided. The chamber geometry and water flow pattern of the additive dispenser provide complete delivery of wash liquid, even when using powdered detergent during low water volume dispense cycles. The water flows past the siphon inlet to clear the siphon path, dissolve and entrain wash additive, and clear the chamber floor upon delivery of the wash liquid.
CHEMISTRY DISPENSING ASSEMBLY FOR A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A chemistry dispensing assembly for a laundry appliance includes a reservoir that dispenses a laundry chemistry to a treatment chamber. A mixing channel is positioned below the reservoir that receives the laundry chemistry dispensed from the reservoir. A fluid assembly delivers a fluid carrier through a flow path that includes the mixing channel. The mixing channel is defined between an underside of the reservoir and an upper surface of the mixing channel.
