INTELLIGENT NETWORK FOR CHEMICAL DISPENSING SYSTEM
System and method for dispensing product to a washing machine. A chemical dispensing system includes a system controller, machine interface, and pump controller that communicate through serial data buses. The system controller provides a user interface, retrieves washing machine status information from the machine interface, and issues product dispensing commands to the pump controller. The pump controller monitors pump status and dispenses product in response to commands from the system controller. The pump controller: (1) determines pump activation periods based on calibration data stored in a pump controller memory; (2) tracks pump usage and adjusts the activation period to compensate for pump wear as the pump ages; (3) disables the pump if conditions exists that preclude operating the pump; (4) monitors product levels, and (5) reports pump status to the system controller. Integral channels are included in the pump housing to provide stress relief to a squeeze tube.

The apparatus configured to control an operation of the drying machine in response to an input received through the second start/pause button while operation information of the washing machine is displayed on the display.
CLOTHES DRYER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A clothes dryer comprises a drum, a weight detection sensor, a moisture content detection sensor, and a controller. The controller is configured to determine a category for the drying item among a plurality of categories based on the weight of the drying item detected by the weight detection sensor and the residual moisture content information about the drying item obtained by the moisture content detection sensor at a first predetermined time after an initial drying cycle is initiated according to an initial control condition, monitor a reduction state in the residual moisture content information about the drying item obtained by the a moisture content detection circuit based on a reference time and a moisture content threshold defined corresponding to the determined category to determine a drying level for the drying item, and then initiate a main drying cycle according to the control condition corresponding to the determined drying level.
NIGHT CYCLE FOR A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A laundry dryer includes a cabinet, a user interface that is operably coupled to the cabinet, a motor that is disposed within the cabinet and communicatively coupled with the user interface, and a controller that is communicatively coupled with the user interface and the motor, respectively. The controller includes a memory storage that includes a plurality of night routines. The controller is configured with a selectable time point and is further configured to select at least one of the plurality of night routines at the selectable time point.
Method of controlling operation of a washing appliance
Provided herein are a method of controlling operation of a washing appliance and a washing appliance being controlled by the method. The method may include displaying, on a user interface of the washing appliance, an estimated duration of a selected washing program for the washing appliance; displaying, on the user interface, a degree of ecological impact caused by the selected washing program; allowing a user to operate the user interface to change the duration of the selected washing program, wherein the washing appliance adapts the selected cleaning program to comply with the changed duration; and displaying on the user interface the degree of ecological impact caused by the selected washing program when complying with the changed duration.
Clothing treatment apparatus and control method therefor
A clothing treatment apparatus includes a plurality of inverters for controlling the motors of a drum, a compressor, and a blowing fan, a converter for converting input power input from an external source and outputting the converted power to the inverters, and a control unit for controlling the plurality of inverters and the converter.
Electronic device and method for controlling the same
Disclosed is an electronic device. The electronic device comprises: a display and a processor, wherein, when at least one condition among the time required to treat an object and an object treatment completion time is input, the processor identifies a plurality of object treatment courses that comply with the condition, identifies the order of priority of the plurality of object treatment courses according to predetermined criteria, and controls the display to provide a list listing information about the plurality of object treatment courses on the basis of the identified order of priority, wherein the object treatment is a process in which an object is cleaned or dried by means of at least one among a cleaning operation and a drying operation.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
An electronic apparatus is provided. An electronic apparatus includes a memory in which an application is stored, a display, and a processor which executes the application so that, when context information about a user is received, the care course and the care order of each of a plurality of clothing care devices registered in the application are identified on the basis of the received context information about the user, and which controls the display so that a user interface (UI) including customized care information about the user is provided on the basis of the identified care course and care order of each of the plurality of clothing care devices.
HOME APPLIANCE SYSTEM, MOBILE APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING HOME APPLIANCES
A disclosed home appliance system comprises: a washer for washing clothes; a dryer for drying the clothes; an external server for communicating with the washer and the dryer; and a mobile device for controlling the washer and the dryer through the external server, wherein the mobile device can: acquire energy peak time information including time-specific energy billing information from the external server; display a first user interface for receiving the selection of a first interworking course of sequentially operating the washer and the dryer; determine a first cycle time of the first interworking course including a first washing time of the washer and a first drying time of the dryer, the first cycle time being required in order to perform the first interworking course; display a second user interface for receiving the selection of whether to perform the first interworking course on the basis of the energy peak time information and the first operation time; and transmit first interworking course information to the external server in response to receiving the selection of performing the first interworking course.
