Laundry treatment device and method of determining laundry course thereof
A laundry treatment device includes a washing module configured to perform operation related to washing, a camera configured to capture an image of a tag attached to a laundry, and a processor configured to acquire laundry information of a plurality of laundries, to convert the acquired laundry information into encoding data, and to acquire values of laundry control variables corresponding to the converted encoding data based on a laundry course learning model learned using a plurality of reference data through a deep learning algorithm.
Washing machine and method for controlling same
Provided are a washing machine in which an auxiliary door can be safely and conveniently used and a method of controlling the same. The auxiliary door through which laundry can be additionally put into the washing machine, and the auxiliary door can be safely locked/unlocked. Because an open/closed state of the auxiliary door can be indirectly determined through a locking/unlocking operation of the auxiliary door, even when a door opening/closing detecting device has broken down, the auxiliary door can be safely used. The auxiliary door is unlocked by default and conditions on which the auxiliary door is locked for safety if necessary, are minimized during an operation of the washing machine so that use convenience of the auxiliary door can be enhanced, and a locked state of the auxiliary door is maintained according to the amount of laundry so that the laundry can be safely put into the washing machine.
INTELLIGENT NETWORK FOR CHEMICAL DISPENSING SYSTEM
System and method for dispensing product to a washing machine. A chemical dispensing system includes a system controller, machine interface, and pump controller that communicate through serial data buses. The system controller provides a user interface, retrieves washing machine status information from the machine interface, and issues product dispensing commands to the pump controller. The pump controller monitors pump status and dispenses product in response to commands from the system controller. The pump controller: (1) determines pump activation periods based on calibration data stored in a pump controller memory; (2) tracks pump usage and adjusts the activation period to compensate for pump wear as the pump ages; (3) disables the pump if conditions exists that preclude operating the pump; (4) monitors product levels, and (5) reports pump status to the system controller. Integral channels are included in the pump housing to provide stress relief to a squeeze tube.
Washing machine capable of controlling control panel related to operation of heaters
A washing machine and a method for controlling the same are disclosed. The washing machine includes a plurality of washing devices, each of which includes a heater. Based on a target temperature of wash water heated by one heater of any one of the washing devices, the washing machine changes a target temperature setting environment of wash water heated by the remaining heater. The washing machine includes a first heater to heat wash water stored in a first tub, a second heater to heat wash water stored in a second tub, a control panel to provide a target temperature setting menu for setting a target temperature of the wash water stored in the first tub, and a controller to drive the first heater and the second heater. The controller changes the target temperature setting menu supplied from the control panel in response to the second target temperature.
Laundry treating appliance having a user interface and methods of operating same
A laundry treating appliance includes a treating chamber provided for receiving laundry for treatment, a controller having a memory in which is stored a set of executable instructions including a set of cycles of operations. The laundry treating appliance also includes a user interface operably coupled with the controller and having a touchscreen configured to provide an input and output function for the controller.
Method for controlling laundry processing apparatus
A method for controlling a laundry processing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises steps of: inputting power to at least a second processing device and, through an input unit in the second processing device, inputting an installation inspection instruction for the second processing device; performing a primary inspection process by the installation inspection instruction; and performing a second inspection process after the primary inspection process is completed. In the primary inspection process, the control unit of the second processing device controls a plurality of inspections to proceed automatically in sequence, and the plurality of inspections may comprise at least two of a pairing inspection, a drawer closing state inspection, a drawer locking state inspection, and a lid closing state inspection.
METHOD OF OPERATING A WASHING MACHINE AND WASHING MACHINE
A washing machine has a rotatable drum and drum drive and a drum container for it, an inlet device to introduce water into the drum onto laundry therein, a pump and water pipes, several temperature sensors on the drum container, a heater for heating water and a washing machine controller connected to everything. Laundry in the drum is moistened with a defined quantity of water, wherein the moisture penetration varies depending on the fiber type of the laundry. Then a predefined quantity of water with a predefined temperature is applied to this laundry. The washing machine controller can deduce the fiber type of the laundry from the way how quickly and to what extent heat is extracted from this quantity of water.
Laundry treating appliance detergent dispenser
A laundry treating appliance includes a cabinet defining an interior and having an access opening to the interior, a treating chamber located within the interior and accessible through the access opening, a dispenser having a drawer with at least one chemistry container and a faucet, and a water supply fluidly coupled to the faucet.
Method for setting a time of a release of a cleaning agent during a cleaning cycle in a household appliance
A method for setting a time of a release of a cleaning agent during a cleaning cycle in a household appliance includes obtaining an evolution over time of a local parameter inside the appliance, the local parameter comprising an acceleration induced by the cycle or a temperature inside the appliance; obtaining reference patterns of evolutions of the local parameter during a cycle comprising different cleaning steps including a step adapted for releasing the cleaning agent at a predetermined adapted time; comparing the evolution of the local parameter to the reference patterns and identifying a cleaning step within the cycle when a similarity between a reference pattern and the evolution is above a predetermined threshold, and setting the release of the agent at the predetermined adapted time within the identified cleaning step when the identified step corresponds to a step adapted for releasing the agent.
Controller for a rinse water reuse system and methods of use
A water reuse system and controller for controlling water levels, temperature, and quality in the rinse water reuse system and methods of using the same, in order to optimize water usage. More particularly, the application pertains to a controller and methods of using the controller to regulate water levels and water quality in a water reuse system. As part of detailing the controller and methods of using the same, an apparatus for a water reuse system is also provided.
