Laundry treating apparatus
A laundry treating apparatus may comprise a cabinet that defines an exterior design; a drum rotatably mounted in the cabinet and configured to accommodate laundry; a drive unit or motor configured to rotate the drum; a hot air supply unit or hot air blower configured to supply high-temperature air to the drum and in communication with the drum; a collection portion or liquid chamber provided to collect water condensed from the drum and in communication with the hot air supply unit; and a drainage pump configured to discharge the water collected in the collection portion outside the cabinet such that the laundry treating apparatus may sense whether the condensate collected in the collection portion is frozen and thaw the frozen condensate. A control method of the laundry treating apparatus may be provided to thaw and operate the laundry treating apparatus.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
A laundry treating apparatus includes a dryer disposed in an indoor space; a washing machine vertically disposed with respect to the dryer; a refresher disposed on one side of the dryer and the washing machine; and a heating device heating air supplied to at least one of the dryer, the washing machine, and the refresher. The heating device includes a plurality of compressors, and controls a number of compressors to be operated and an RPM of the operated compressors, according to a cycle status of the dryer, the washing machine, and the refresher.
LAUNDRY DRYING MACHINE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A method to control a laundry drying machine having a rotatable drum, a motor for rotating the drum, and a hot air generator for supplying a drying airflow to the drum. The method includes: collecting physicals quantities during an initial phase of said drying cycle, performing an estimation of polynomial coefficients of a cubic polynomial model indicative of an estimated change of a laundry moisture value over the time based on respective linear polynomial models comprising the collected physicals quantities, performing an estimation of the laundry moisture value by the cubic polynomial model based on the estimated polynomial coefficients, and controlling the motor and hot air generator during a drying cycle, based on one or more physicals quantities associated with the drum loaded with laundry, the electric motor and the hot air generator.
DRYER, DRYING METHOD, AND DEHUMIDIFICATION FILTER
A dryer includes a dehumidification filter containing a temperature responsive material with an upper critical solution temperature, a fan sending gas through the dehumidification filter, a heater heating the dehumidification filter, and a controller controlling the fan and the heater and switching an operation mode of the fan and the heater between a drying mode and a regeneration mode, wherein, in the drying mode, an object to be dried is dried with the fan sending the gas through the dehumidification filter that is heated by the heater to temperature higher than or equal to the upper critical solution temperature, and in the regeneration mode, the dehumidification filter is regenerated with the fan sending the gas through the dehumidification filter at temperature lower than the upper critical solution temperature.
Laundry treatment apparatus
An apparatus for laundry treatment includes: a cabinet defining an entrance at one side, a drum defining a space for receiving laundry therein, a duct connected to the drum, a fan configured to move air in the drum into the duct, a heat exchange part including a heat absorption part configured to remove moisture from the air moved into the duct and a heating part configured to heat the air having passed through the heat absorption part, a compressor configured to increase a temperature of the air by compressing a refrigerant having passed through the heat absorption part, a water collecting part configured to receive the moisture removed by the heat exchange part, and a soundproof panel provided at a bottom of a base part that is located at a bottom of the cabinet.
Laundry appliance with capacitive laundry drying degree sensing function
A method for measuring the humidity of a laundry mass contained in a laundry treatment chamber of a laundry appliance. The method includes: providing a capacitor in the laundry appliance, the capacitor having, as part of the capacitor dielectric, the laundry mass; measuring a capacitance of the capacitor by means of an electronic circuitry electrically supplied by a supply voltage and a reference voltage. Providing a capacitor comprises: providing in the laundry appliance at least one conductive plate which forms a plate of the capacitor, and exploiting, as a second plate of the capacitor, routing lines distributing inside the laundry drying appliance the reference voltage.
CONDENSER TUMBLE DRYER COMPRISING A TEMPERATURE SENSOR, AND METHOD FOR THE OPERATION THEREOF
The invention relates to a condenser tumble dryer with a drum for articles to be dried, a drive motor for the drum, a process air duct, a process air blower, a heating and cooling system for the process air, a temperature sensor and a control device. The temperature sensor is an infrared telescope and is arranged to simultaneously measure heat radiation from at least two components of the condenser tumble dryer which are to be monitored. The invention also relates to a method for operating a condenser tumble dryer of said type.
