A clothes drying device, including an air channel, an air path switching assembly, multiple clothes drying apparatuses, and multiple heating apparatuses. The air path switching assembly includes a first multi-position switching component and a second multi-position switching component. The first multi-position switching component and the second multi-position switching component are respectively provided between a hot air input section and intermediate heat source sections and between a hot air output section and the intermediate heat source sections; the first multi-position switching component and the second multi-position switching component have the same number of switching positions and are configured to work in conjunction to each other so that at least one clothes drying apparatus is selectively communicated with the corresponding hot air input section, the hot air output section, and the intermediate heat source sections so as to form a circulation loop.
Washing machine capable of controlling control panel related to operation of heaters
A washing machine and a method for controlling the same are disclosed. The washing machine includes a plurality of washing devices, each of which includes a heater. Based on a target temperature of wash water heated by one heater of any one of the washing devices, the washing machine changes a target temperature setting environment of wash water heated by the remaining heater. The washing machine includes a first heater to heat wash water stored in a first tub, a second heater to heat wash water stored in a second tub, a control panel to provide a target temperature setting menu for setting a target temperature of the wash water stored in the first tub, and a controller to drive the first heater and the second heater. The controller changes the target temperature setting menu supplied from the control panel in response to the second target temperature.
Laundry treating apparatus
A laundry treating apparatus may include a drum in which laundry is stored, an air flow passage through which air is circulated, and a heating duct configured to supply hot air to the drum. The air flow passage and heating duct may be configured to prevent or reduce or cooling or condensing of moisture in the circulated air. A steam compressor may be provided to compress some of the air flowing through the air flow passage.
DRYER APPLIANCE LOAD DETECTION
A method of operating a dryer appliance includes activating a heating system of the dryer appliance and tracking an energy output of the heating system. The method also includes determining a load score of a load of articles to be dried in the dryer appliance based on the tracked energy output and determining a termination criterion for a dry operation of the dryer appliance based on the load score. The method further includes performing the dry operation in the dryer appliance and terminating the dry operation when the determined termination criterion is reached.
Laundry treating appliance for drying laundry
A method of operating a laundry treating appliance with a treating chamber for treating a load of laundry the method comprising supplying a rinse to the treating chamber during a rinse cycle, rotating the treating chamber at a tumbling speed, spinning the treating chamber in an extraction cycle to remove excess moisture from the load of laundry, sensing a parameter indicative of a remaining moisture content value in the load of laundry, comparing the remaining moisture content value to a pre-determined remaining moisture content value.
Dryer appliance and methods for improved operation
A method of operating a dryer appliance is provided that includes obtaining washer operating parameters from a washing machine appliance that is linked to the dryer appliance and obtaining dryer operating parameters of the dryer appliance. These parameters are transmitted to a remote server along with a user input such as a selected dryness level. The method further includes receiving operating instructions from the remote server and adjusting at least one operating parameter of the dryer appliance based on the operating instructions.
Laundry treating apparatus having induction heater and control method thereof
Disclosed are an object treating apparatus, and more particularly, an object treating apparatus for heating a drum using an induction heater and a control method thereof. The object treating apparatus includes a tub; a drum rotatably disposed within the tub and accommodating an object therein; an induction heater disposed on the tub and configured to heat an outer circumferential face of the drum contacting the heater; a motor to rotate the drum; and a processor configured to control an operation of the induction heater to dry the object, wherein the processor is configured to control revolution per minute (RPM) of the drum to perform, during drying: a conductive accelerating motion having a target RPM in which the object rotates integrally with the drum while the object is in close contact with an inner circumferential face of the drum; and a rearrangement motion having a target RPM lower than the target RPM of the conductive accelerating motion.
Laundry treatment apparatus and method of controlling the same
A laundry treatment apparatus is configured to directly heat a drum containing laundry therein. The laundry treatment apparatus includes: a tub; a drum configured to rotate within the tub and to contain laundry therein, the drum being formed of a metallic material; and an induction module provided at an outer surface of the tub and configured to heat a surface of the drum within the tub via induction, the induction module comprising: a coil that comprises a wire through which an electric current is configured to pass so as to generate a magnetic field; a base housing configured to accommodate the coil therein, the base housing being mounted on the outer surface of the tub; an at least one magnet configured to be arranged above the base housing in which the coil is accommodated, and arranged to be lengthwise perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the wire of the coil.
Washing machine and method of controlling the same
A washing machine in which a first main heater is not driven while wash water stored in a first tub and wash water stored in a second tub are simultaneously heated, and a method of controlling the same. A washing machine includes: a first tub configured to store wash water; a first main heater configured to heat wash water stored in the first tub; a first sub heater configured to heat wash water stored in the first tub; a second tub configured to store wash water; and a second heater configured to heat wash water stored in the second tub, wherein a power consumption required to drive the first main heater is greater than a power consumption required to drive the first sub heater, and the first main heater is not driven while wash water stored in the first tube and wash water stored in the second tub are simultaneously heated.
Clothes care apparatus and control method thereof
A clothes care apparatus includes a chamber, an upper fan provided above the chamber and configured to move air to a lower side of the chamber, and a lower fan provided under the chamber and configured to move air to an upper side of the chamber.
