Drum Bypass Control
A seal for a tub/drum assembly has a ring body to secure the seal to the tub/drum assembly. An arm extends from the ring body. The arm reduces a gap between the tub and drum. A mass at an end of the arm. The mass enables the arm to deflect at high drum rotational speeds increasing the gap between the tub and drum during high rotational speed of the drum. Alternatively, the arm is of a material prohibiting substantial deflection so that the gap is maintained at all speeds between the tub and drum without the arm contacting the drum creating high resistance in an airflow path.
WASHING MACHINE
Disclosed herein is a drum type washing machine capable of obtaining a high-water saving effect. The drum type washing machine comprises at least one processor configured to control a drive device configured to rotate a drum, a water supplier configured to supply water to a tub, and a sprinkler configured to spray water stored in the tub toward laundry accommodated in the drum. The drum comprises a lifter and a plurality of rear through-holes. The at least one processor is configured to perform a water spray process while rotating the drum in a state in which an amount of wash water absorbable by the laundry is maintained in the tub, in a washing cycle. In the water spray process, a waiting process, in which driving a circulation pump 91 is stopped, is intermittently and repeatedly performed.
WASHING MACHINE WATER-FREE ZONES OF THE DRUM
A washing machine for performing wet, dry, physical or chemical treatments on materials includes a front loading or side loading perforated drum. The perforated drum may be mounted respectively by means of a drum shaft at the rear, or by means of drum shafts at both sides horizontally, or having an angle with a horizontal axis to a drum shaft bearing system so as to rotate around a central axis of the drum. The drum may have at least one water-free dry zone on at least one outer surface of the drum, which is not accessed or contacted by the water draining from the drum during all wet treatment application processes carried out by the washing machine with water.
Drum washing machine
A drum washing machine includes a washing machine housing. A washing drum is disposed in the washing machine housing and includes a front washing drum and a rear washing drum. The front washing drum is sealedly connected to the rear washing drum. The rear washing drum is operative to rotate relative to the front washing drum. The rear washing drum is further operative to rotate along with a motor, and the front washing drum is stationary when the rear washing drum is rotating along with the motor.

DRAINING STRUCTURE OF A WASHING MACHINE
The disclosure relates to a draining structure of a washing machine. An inner drum is installed in a housing of the washing machine, a drain port is arranged on the inner drum, and a drain valve is installed at the drain port; the washing machine is further provided with a positioning and locking mechanism for rotating the inner drum to a fixed drainage position and locking the inner drum; and the washing machine is provided with an opening mechanism of a valve core for opening the drain valve after the inner drum rotating to the fixed drainage position. When the washing machine is in a draining state, the drain valve is opened after the inner drum rotating to the fixed drainage position to discharge the washing water in the inner drum.
DRAINING STRUCTURE OF WASHING MACHINE AND DRAINING METHOD
The disclosure relates to a draining structure of a washing machine and a draining method. An inner drum is installed in a housing of the washing machine. The inner drum is a tapered drum with a smaller diameter at one end and a larger diameter at the other end. A draining flow passage is arranged at the larger diameter end. One end of the draining flow passage communicates with the larger diameter end. The other end of the draining flow passage penetrates the inner drum and communicates with a drain pipe. The inner drum rotates and washing water flows to the larger diameter end along the tapered inner wall by centrifugal force. Washing water is drained out from the inner drum through the draining flow passage arranged at the larger diameter end and then drained out through the drain pipe to realize the discharge of washing water.
