INTELLIGENT NETWORK FOR CHEMICAL DISPENSING SYSTEM
20180010596 · 2018-01-11 ·

System and method for dispensing product to a washing machine. A chemical dispensing system includes a system controller, machine interface, and pump controller that communicate through serial data buses. The system controller provides a user interface, retrieves washing machine status information from the machine interface, and issues product dispensing commands to the pump controller. The pump controller monitors pump status and dispenses product in response to commands from the system controller. The pump controller: (1) determines pump activation periods based on calibration data stored in a pump controller memory; (2) tracks pump usage and adjusts the activation period to compensate for pump wear as the pump ages; (3) disables the pump if conditions exists that preclude operating the pump; (4) monitors product levels, and (5) reports pump status to the system controller. Integral channels are included in the pump housing to provide stress relief to a squeeze tube.

METHOD FOR REAL TIME DETERMINATION DURING LOADING OF VOLUMETRIC LOAD SIZE IN A LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE

A control method of a laundry treatment apparatus that a first treatment device that has a first load unit and a second treatment device that has a second load unit includes the action of performing a first cycle in the first treatment device by supplying electric power to the first load unit. The actions further include performing a second cycle in the second treatment device by supplying electric power to the second load unit. The actions further include reducing power consumption by terminating the second cycle in the second treatment device and performing a third cycle in the second treatment device, the third cycle being different than the second cycle. The actions further include terminating the first cycle in the first treatment device. The actions further include terminating the third cycle in the second treatment device and repeating the second cycle in the second treatment device.

CONTROL PANEL FOR A WASHING MACHINE APPLIANCE

A washing machine appliance and control panel is provided herein. The washing machine appliance may include a cabinet defining an opening, a basket, a door, a secondary control panel, and a controller. The basket may be mounted within the cabinet and define a wash chamber beneath the opening to receive one or more clothing articles to be washed. The door may be pivotally attached to the cabinet and selectively movable between an open position and a closed position. The secondary control panel may be disposed on the cabinet within a closed footprint of the door. The secondary control panel may be covered beneath the door in the closed position. The controller may be operatively connected to the secondary control panel. The controller may be configured to receive an input signal from the secondary control panel, and initiate an operative step in response to the input signal.

Laundry system, communication device, communication method, communication program and washing machine

A display control unit switches a display screen to a detergent name list screen based on detergent name list screen information received by a second communication unit, an operation unit accepts a selection of an arbitrary detergent name by a user from a plurality of detergent names displayed as a list on the detergent name list screen, the second communication unit transmits, to a server, detergent name specifying information for specifying the arbitrary detergent name accepted by the operation unit and washing machine specifying information and receives, from the server, detergent information related to a detergent specified based on the detergent name specifying information and the washing machine specifying information, and a first communication unit transmits the detergent information received by the second communication unit to a washing machine.

Laundry Washing Machine

A laundry washing machine (1) includes an outer casing (2), a washing tub (3), a rotatable drum housed in axially rotatable manner inside the washing tub (3), a detergent dispenser (10), a fresh-water supply circuit (12) for selectively channelling a flow of fresh water towards the detergent dispenser (10) and/or the washing tub (3), and an internal water softening device (14) capable of reducing the hardness degree of the fresh water. The laundry washing machine (1) further includes: at least a main drawer (16, 74) which is fitted/inserted in extractable manner into a corresponding substantially basin-shaped, drawer housing (18, 73) which is located/recessed inside the outer casing (2), and is provided with a substantially basin-shaped, manually tillable regeneration-agent compartment (20); a first water-supply line (19) which is structured for selectively channelling a flow of fresh water into said regeneration-agent compartment (20) so as to form some brine; a brine container (34) which is located underneath the drawer housing (18, 73) and communicates with the bottom of the drawer housing (18, 73) so as to allow the brine to freely flow by gravity from a basin-shaped bottom portion (32) of said drawer housing (18, 73) into the same brine container (34); and an electrically-powered pump (35) able to selectively pump the brine from said brine container (34) to the water softening device (14).

WASHING MACHINE

A washing machine is provided. The washing machine includes: a washing/dewatering drum for accommodating the washings; an electric motor for driving the washing/dewatering drum to rotate; and a microcomputer. In a rinsing process of a washing operation in a water saving mode, the microcomputer continuously performs a dewatering-rinsing process for a plurality of times rather than executing a water-storage rinsing process for rotating a rotating wing while water stored in the washing/dewatering drum reaches a specified water level. The dewatering-rinsing process includes: a water supplying process of supplying water to the washing/dewatering drum so that the washings are saturated by water, and an intermediate dewatering process or a final dewatering process executed immediately after the water supplying process. A maximum rotating speed of the motor in the intermediate dewatering process immediately before the water supplying process is lower than a maximum rotating speed of in the final dewatering process.

Washing machine with buoyancy clutch and controlling method thereof

The washing machine includes an outer tub, an inner tub rotatably provided in the outer tub, a pulsator rotatably provided in the inner tub, a power transmission shaft rotating the pulsator, a buoyancy clutch that moves up and down by buoyancy created by wash water and transfers, when the buoyancy clutch is in a lower position, rotational force from the power transmission shaft to the inner tub to allow the pulsator and the inner tub to rotate integrally with each other, a circulation passage that is provided on an outer portion of the outer tub to allow the wash water drained out of the outer tub to be returned into the outer tub, a pump provided on the circulation passage and a drain guide unit that directs the wash water under the buoyancy clutch to a drain hole of the outer tub so that the buoyancy clutch moves downward.

Water inlet sprayer for low pressure (WILP)

The present relates to washing machines comprising a tub within in which a basket is housed which rotates concentrically within this, driven by a motor mechanically coupled to an agitator and to the basket, a clutch which allows the coupling and uncoupling between basket and agitator, an electronic control which controls actuators by means of drivers, at least one admission valve, one level detector, one spray system, characterized by a wash method comprising: checking the water level, volume determination sequence which comprises determining in which the at least one admission valve remains open; an agitation sequence; a dehydrating sequence; a rinsing sequence which comprises using a determined number of rinsing blocks according to the amount of objects to be washed, introducing a determined amount of water into the basket by means of a nozzle.

CLOTHING ITEM SEPARATING DEVICE AND CLOTHING ITEM PROCESSING DEVICE COMPRISING SAME

A clothes separating device and a clothes processing apparatus including the clothes separating device according to this disclosure are provided with a separator that operates to grip clothes in a washing tub and to separate, from the gripped clothes, another item of clothes entwined with the gripped clothes. In this manner, a user does not need to separate a plurality of individual items of clothes before folding the clothes. Hence, it is possible to provide the clothes separating device that contributes to reducing a burden of work related to laundry and a clothes processing apparatus including the clothes separating device.
