INTEGRATED WASHING-DRYING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to an integrated washing-drying machine and a method of controlling the same, the integrated washing-drying machine including a housing, a drying drum disposed at an upper side in the housing and configured to accommodate and dry laundry, a washing drum disposed at a lower side in the housing and configured to accommodate and wash laundry, a heat pump having an evaporator, a compressor, and a condenser and produce hot air for drying laundry and supply the hot air to the drying drum, and a cleaning means configured to clean the condenser by spraying cleaning water to the condenser. In this case, the cleaning means uses, as the cleaning water, at least any one of condensate water produced in the evaporator and washing water to be supplied to the washing drum. With this configuration, when the amount of condensate water is insufficient, the washing water is additionally supplied to clean the condenser cleanly.

AUTOMATIC SELF CLEAN CYCLE START USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A laundry appliance includes a basket rotatably mounted within a cabinet and defining a chamber configured for receiving a load of clothes, a door pivotally mounted to the cabinet for providing selective access to the chamber, and a camera assembly mounted within the cabinet in view of the chamber. A controller is configured to initiate an automatic self-clean cycle, the method comprising determining that the door is closed, obtaining one or more images of the chamber using the camera assembly, determining that there is no load in the chamber based at least in part on the one or more images, determining that a self-clean condition is satisfied, and commencing the self-clean cycle.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR TREATING LAUNDRY APPLIANCES WITH DISINFECTING SPRAY
Methods and systems for treating laundry appliances with disinfecting spray are provided. The laundry appliance includes a cabinet defining an opening and a laundry vessel mounted within the cabinet. The laundry vessel defines a treatment chamber. The laundry appliance also includes a spray nozzle positioned and operable to direct a spray of sanitizing agent into the treatment chamber. The laundry appliance may be treated by closing a water valve upstream of the treatment chamber, and, while the water valve is closed, activating a pump to pump the sanitizing agent from a tank to the spray nozzle. Thus, the spray of sanitizing agent is directed into the treatment chamber by and from the spray nozzle.

ADAPTIVE SELF CLEAN CYCLE IN A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A laundry appliance includes a basket rotatably mounted within a tub, a motor assembly for selectively rotating the basket, and a wash fluid dispenser for selectively providing a flow of wash fluid into the tub. A controller is configured to receive a command to initiate a self-clean cycle, determine that a cycle adjustment condition exists based at least in part on historical data related to the performance of self-clean cycles, generate a set of adjusted self-clean cycle parameters by adjusting an operating parameter of the self-clean cycle, and perform the self-clean cycle in accordance with the adjusted self-clean cycle parameters.
