BALANCE ASSEMBLY AND HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
Provided is a balance assembly applied in a household appliance. The balance assembly includes: a balancing body having a chamber defined therein; a balancer movably located in the chamber; a first wireless charging assembly; and an energy storage device located outside the balancer and connected to the first wireless charging assembly. The first wireless charging assembly is configured to receive a charging energy wirelessly transmitted by the household appliance. The energy storage device, the first wireless charging assembly, and the balancing body are mounted within a cavity of the household appliance. The chamber has a first conductive structure provided on an inner wall thereof, and the first conductive structure is electrically connected to the energy storage device. The balancer includes a second conductive structure movably connected to the first conductive structure.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
A laundry treating apparatus is provided. The laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet, a drum accommodated in the cabinet, and a dynamic absorber provided to absorb oscillation of the cabinet. The dynamic absorber includes a first moving mass movably provided on the support plate to absorb oscillation transmitted to the cabinet and a second moving mass movably provided on the support plate to absorb oscillation transmitted to the cabinet. Each of the first and second moving masses includes a single mass made of a metal material or a mass in which a plurality of thin metal plates are coupled to overlap each other, and the first moving mass has a mass greater than that of the second moving mass.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
A laundry treating apparatus is provided. The laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet, a drum accommodated in the cabinet, a tub accommodating the drum, and a dynamic absorber provided to absorb oscillation of the cabinet. The dynamic absorber includes a support plate coupled to the cabinet, a first moving mass movably provided on the support plate to absorb oscillation transmitted to the cabinet, and a second moving mass movably provided on the support plate to absorb oscillation transmitted to the cabinet. To absorb the oscillation, a time point at which the second moving mass starts relative motion with respect to the support plate is different from that at which the first moving mass starts relative motion with respect to the support plate.
The dynamic absorber includes a support plate coupled to the cabinet, a moving mass provided on the support plate, and a slider interposed between the moving mass and the support plate to apply a frictional force to attenuate a reciprocating motion of the moving mass.
Laundry treating appliance having a user interface and methods of operating same
A laundry treating appliance includes a treating chamber provided for receiving laundry for treatment, a controller having a memory in which is stored a set of executable instructions including a set of cycles of operations. The laundry treating appliance also includes a user interface operably coupled with the controller and having a touchscreen configured to provide an input and output function for the controller.
WASHING MACHINE AND METHOD OF INCREASING BALANCE OF THE DRUM OF THE WASHING MACHINE
A washing machine having a cabinet, a drum for receiving laundry from its open end where the drum is rotatable around its longitudinal axis within the cabinet, a balancer having a mass channel, and a balancing weight where the mass channel extends in a direction from the lateral surface of the drum to the inside of the drum and receives the balancing weight and the balancing weight is movable within the mass channel along the direction of the extension of the mass channel is disclosed. The invention also relates to a method of increasing the balance of a drum rotating along its longitudinal axis within a washing machine, the method determining the unbalanced load of the laundry received by the drum, and moving a balancing weight in a direction between the lateral surface and the longitudinal axis of the drum.
Suspensionless laundry apparatuses and methods of balancing a laundry apparatus
A laundry apparatus includes an exterior housing, a tub, one or more tub mounts rigidly mounting the tub to the exterior housing, a drum positioned within the tub and rotatable relative to the tub, a control unit, a motor, one or more load imbalance sensors, and a dynamic balancing assembly. The motor is communicatively coupled to the control unit and operatively coupled to the drum. The one or more load imbalance sensors are communicatively coupled to the control unit and configured to output a load imbalance signal to the control unit, the load imbalance signal being indicative of a load imbalance within the drum. The dynamic balancing assembly is includes one or more counterweight devices configured to be orbited about the primary rotation axis to counteract a detected load imbalance in the drum. The tub is unsupported by any displaceable suspension members extending between the tub and the exterior housing.
BALANCE ASSEMBLY AND HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
Provided are a balance assembly and a household appliance. The balance assembly is applied in the household appliance. The balance assembly includes a balancing ring, a balancer, an identification member and a first detection member. The balancing ring has a chamber defined therein. The balancer is movably arranged in the chamber and includes a rotating member and a driving member. The driving member is connected to the rotating member and configured to drive the rotating member to rotate to drive a movement of the balancer within the chamber. A relative movement between the first detection member and the identification member occurs during the movement of the balancer. The first detection member is to detect a number of times of the identification member passing through the first detection member. The number of times of the identification member passing through the first detection member is related to a position of the balancer.
Laundry treating appliance and methods of operation
Methods of reducing a likelihood of contact between a rotating laundry-container, such as a basket or drum, located within a tub of a laundry treating appliance where the method includes rotating the drum during a measurement period, determining a torque, speed, acceleration, and position of the drum, using a parameter estimator to estimate the position of a mass relative to an imbalance of laundry and accelerating the rotation of the drum when the mass is determined to be angularly spaced from the relative position of the imbalance of laundry.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE
A laundry treating appliance having a tub, rotatable drum, at least one transmitter coil, at least one ring shaped housing on the drum perimeter and having an annular channel therein and at least one balancing unit disposed in the channel. The balancing unit has a receiver coil configured to receive wireless power from the transmitter coil and an actuator powered by the receiver coil, a sensing element to detect a position of the balancing unit in the housing, a balancing control unit configured to control the positioning of the balancing unit by driving the transmitter coil to send power to the receiver coil to operate the actuator on a friction force element to change the friction between the housing and the balancing unit.
