A method of operating a laundry treating appliance comprising a treating chamber located within a cabinet of the laundry treating appliance and accessible by an access opening, a bellows extending between the treating chamber and the access opening and a bulk treating chemistry dispenser having a dispenser outlet comprising at least two spray nozzles with a first spray nozzle configured to provide a spray toward the treating chamber and a second spray nozzle configured to provide a spray toward the bellows. The method comprises spraying a first liquid from the first spray nozzle toward the treating chamber and spraying a second liquid from the second spray nozzle toward the bellows.

The dispenser assembly includes a frame defining an opening, and at least one dispenser container mounted to the frame for movement between extended and retracted positions. A dispenser door is mounted to the frame for movement between closed and opened positions. An out-of-product alarm process includes initiating an out-of-product check by sending a signal to a controller from an optical sensor assembly connected to a fluid delivery medium for delivering a product to a fluid dispensing site, performing an out-of-product check, running an alarm cycle with the controller after receipt of an out-of-product signal, and executing a corrective action. Performing the out-of-product check includes directing light into the fluid delivery medium, generating a detector output based on detected light within the fluid delivery medium, determining an out-of-product state within the fluid delivery medium based on a comparison of the detector output to an out-of-product threshold, starting an out-of-product timer, when the out-of-product state is determined, and determining an out-of-product event when the out-of-product timer reaches a threshold out-of-product time period.

The detergent supply device includes a plurality of cartridges storing additive, a plurality of check valve assemblies connected to the plurality of cartridges and configured to control extracting of the additive, a pump for extracting additive, an inlet channel defining a plurality of flow paths respectively connected to the plurality of check valve assemblies, where the inlet channel is configured to transmit a pressure change generated by the pump to the plurality of check valve assemblies, and a flow path switching valve connected to the pump and the inlet channel and configured to selectively establish fluid communication between the pump and any one of the plurality of flow paths of the inlet channel.
