Disclosed herein is a method of controlling a laundry treating apparatus, if a user selects a uniform course, including performing a preheating operation of a heater to generate steam, performing a first cooling operation to operate a blower unit and a moving hanger after the preheating operation has been terminated, performing a steam operation to operate the blower unit and a steam unit and to circulate steam to a treating chamber after the first cooling operation has been terminated, performing a standby operation to operate the blower unit after the steam operation has been terminated, performing a second cooling operation to operate the blower unit after the standby operation has been terminated, and performing a drying operation to operate the blower unit and a heat pump unit and to provide heat to the treating chamber to dry the treating chamber after the second cooling operation has been terminated.
Mobile firefighter gear cleaner
A mobile vehicle that is self-contained and equipped to wash firefighter gear at the firefighter's station. The vehicle would be on a dispatched network and be activated after an incident, and for scheduled cleanings on a regular basis; the vehicle having the required equipment to clean all contaminated gear by use of a sonic cleaner, extractors, dryers, and an ozonator. The process includes monitoring the life of the gear and decontaminating the gear in accordance with the gear manufacturer's recommendations. Gear that has been cleaned is reassembled, wrapped, sealed and placed back into a fireman's station, giving the firefighter the assurance that their firefighting gear was cleaned, sanitized, and serviced per the manufacturer's recommendations.

Systems and methods for restoring shrunken garments
Disclosed herein are drying system and method for restoring clothes shrunk after washing and drying of the clothes. The clothes drying system includes: an air injection part for injecting air into the drying system; a drying tube of which the volume is expandable by the air injected through the air injection part; a jig put on the outer surface of the drying tube; and a fixing part attached to the clothes and fixing the clothes and jig so that the clothes put on the outer surface of the jig is not shrunk while being dried.

The garment care device (D) also comprises a metal oxide photocatalyst element (MO) disposed inside the chamber (C) such that the metal oxide photocatalyst element (MO) can receive the radiation. The chamber (C) comprises receiving means to receive the at least one garment (G) such that the at least one garment (G) remains spaced from the metal oxide photocatalyst element (MO). The garment care device according to the invention allows the combination of drying and sanitizing of garments, while imparting pleasant smell to garment in a safe and eco-friendly way.

CLOTHING TREATMENT APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a clothing treatment apparatus. The clothing treatment apparatus comprises: a cabinet; a first clothing treatment chamber for accommodating clothes in the cabinet; a machine chamber for supplying steam or air to the first clothing treatment chamber; and a door assembly for opening and closing an opening. The door assembly comprises: a first panel having a second clothing treatment chamber for treating clothes formed therein, the first panel being open at one side and being pivotably connected to the cabinet; a second panel for opening and closing the open one side of the first panel; and a partition plate, disposed between the first panel and the second panel, for applying pressure to each of the clothes placed on the first panel and the clothes placed on the second panel.

A system or device can comprise a vacuum chamber comprising an housing defining an internal space having an internal pressure and an opening; a vacuum lid adapted to engage with the opening of the vacuum chamber; and a vacuum source connected to the vacuum chamber, wherein operation of the vacuum source reduces the internal pressure of the internal space of the vacuum chamber, wherein the lower internal pressure enhances the vaporization and removal of odors located on one or more articles disposed within the vacuum chamber.
