METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR TREATING LAUNDRY APPLIANCES WITH DISINFECTING SPRAY
Methods and systems for treating laundry appliances with disinfecting spray are provided. The laundry appliance includes a cabinet defining an opening and a laundry vessel mounted within the cabinet. The laundry vessel defines a treatment chamber. The laundry appliance also includes a spray nozzle positioned and operable to direct a spray of sanitizing agent into the treatment chamber. The laundry appliance may be treated by closing a water valve upstream of the treatment chamber, and, while the water valve is closed, activating a pump to pump the sanitizing agent from a tank to the spray nozzle. Thus, the spray of sanitizing agent is directed into the treatment chamber by and from the spray nozzle.
DRYING AIR DUCT, CLOTHING TREATMENT DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR CLEANING DRYING AIR DUCT
A drying air duct, a clothing treatment device and a method for cleaning a drying air duct are provided. The drying air duct includes a condensing section air duct, a heating section air duct and a fan; the fan is provided at a connection position of the condensing section air duct and the heating section air duct, a cleaning device is provided in the condensing section air duct, the cleaning device is provided at an end of the condensing section air duct adjacent to the fan and is capable of cleaning a side of the condensing section air duct away from the fan. The drying air duct can effectively clean the pipe sudden expansion area of the condensing section air duct, preventing the accumulation of soft flocks in the condensing section air duct.

LAUNDRY APPLIANCES COLD WATER SANITIZATION
A laundry appliance includes a cabinet defining an opening with a laundry vessel mounted within the cabinet. The laundry vessel defines a treatment chamber. The laundry appliance also includes an electrolytic hypochlorous acid generator upstream of the treatment chamber with respect to a flow of cold water through the laundry appliance and a controller. The controller may be configured for and/or a method of sanitizing the laundry appliance may include opening a valve upstream of the electrolytic hypochlorous acid generator to provide the flow of cold water through the laundry appliance, confirming the presence of the cold water in the laundry appliance after opening the valve, and activating the electrolytic hypochlorous acid generator after confirming the presence of the cold water in the laundry appliance.
LAUNDRY DRYER AND LAUNDRY DRYER CONTROL METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a laundry dryer control method comprising: a sterilizing and drying step of increasing the internal temperature of a cabinet for sterilization; a steam-washing step of supplying steam into a drum, in order to sterilize the drum, after the sterilizing and drying step; and a blowing step of circulating the air inside the drum after the steam-washing step, and thus the temperature of the drum is controlled so as to be greater than or equal to a reference temperature at which sterilization is performed so that the drum is sterilized.

LAUNDRY DRYER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LAUNDRY DRYER
The present disclosure relates to a method for controlling a laundry dryer, the method comprising: a steam supplying step for supplying steam to a heat exchange unit; a cleaning step for controlling a cleaning unit after the steam supplying step, and thereby spraying cleaning water to the heat exchange unit according to preset spraying criteria; and a drying step for drying the heat exchange unit after the cleaning step. The present invention has the effect of eliminating and sterilizing foreign substances, microorganisms, and the like present in the heat exchange unit.

Self cleaning sump cover
A fluid flow system for a laundry appliance includes a blower that delivers process air along an airflow path having a heat exchanger. A drain channel receives condensate from the heat exchanger and fluid spray from a spray nozzle for directing lint particles to the drain channel and on to a sump for collecting fluid, including the condensate. A pump seat and a fluid outlet are integrally formed in a sump cover. A pump directs the fluid from the sump to the fluid outlet. A fluid level sensor detects at least minimum and maximum capacities of the fluid in the sump. When the fluid is below the minimum capacity, the pump defines an idle state. When the fluid reaches the minimum capacity, the pump defines an active state. When the fluid exceeds the maximum capacity, the pump directs the fluid to the fluid outlet.
