METHOD OF PRETREATMENT OF CELLULOSE CONTAINING TEXTILES
A method for pretreatment of cellulose-containing textiles characterized by applying an aqueous solution with a pH between 1 and 7 and containing at least one agent for durably changing the surface morphology of the cellulose, preferably a neutral salt.
WATER-REPELLENT RESIN, WATER-REPELLENT FABRIC, AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF
A water-repellent fabric includes a base cloth and a water-repellent resin. The water-repellent resin is disposed on the base cloth, in which a method of fabricating the water-repellent resin includes the following steps. A first thermal process is performed to mix a polyol, a cross-linking agent, and a choline to form a first mixture, in which a reaction temperature of the first thermal process is between 90° C. and 120° C. A second thermal process is performed to mix the first mixture and a water repellent to form the water-repellent resin, in which the water repellent includes a hydroxyl group, an amino group, or combinations thereof, and a reaction temperature of the second thermal process is between 120° C. and 150° C.
Oxidized cellulose-based material, method for obtaining same and use thereof as compress
The present invention relates to a method of obtaining a solid material based on a polymer having its cellobiose units exhibiting the following characteristics: at least some of the cellobiose units have at least one carboxylic acid function attached to the C.sub.6 carbon, the other C.sub.6 carbons having a primary alcohol function attached thereto; and at least some of the cellobiose units have at least one of the two rings open between the C.sub.2 and C.sub.3 carbons, the other C.sub.2 and C.sub.3 carbons forming a ring and having an alcohol function attached thereto. Such a material, advantageously a textile, may be used as a compress.
