A fine cellulose fiber composite in which a modifying group is bound to a carboxy group of fine cellulose fibers, the fine cellulose fibers having a carboxy group content of 0.1 mmol/g or more, wherein the fine cellulose fiber composite has an average aspect ratio of 1 or more and 150 or less; and a resin composition containing the fine cellulose fiber composite and a resin. The resin composition containing a fine cellulose fiber composite of the present invention has excellent heat resistance, and the molded article of this resin composition has excellent mechanical strength, heat resistance, and dimensional stability. Accordingly, the present invention can be suitably used in various industrial applications such as daily sundries, household electric appliance parts, wrapping materials for household electric appliance parts, and automobile parts.

A flame retardant composition containing a phosphorous containing ammonium salt, a crosslinker, and water is provided, and its application to yarn or fabric to provide a flame retardant yarn or fabric. In a preferred embodiment, the yarn or fabric is made from a polyurethane elastomer, such as a spandex. A method to prepare the flame retardant composition and apply it to the fiber or yarn is also provided.

METHOD FOR PREPARING FLAME-RETARDANT CELLULOSIC FIBERS

A type of flame-retardant cellulosic fiber and a preparation method thereof are disclosed. The preparation method includes extruding the cellulosic solution through a spinneret, coagulating, stretching, and water-washing to obtain a water-washed filament, which is then treated with a flame-retardant solution, and then rinsed and dried to prepare the flame-retardant cellulosic fiber. The water-washing temperature is 90° C., the temperature of the flame-retardant solution during treatment is 60-90° C., and the rinsing temperature is 20-40° C. The flame retardant contains more than one of a group that forms a covalent bond with a hydroxy group of the cellulosic macromolecule, a group having the ability of self-crosslinking reaction, and a group that forms a hydrogen bond with a hydroxy group of the cellulosic macromolecule. The prepared flame-retardant cellulosic fiber is mainly composed of the cellulosic fiber matrix and the flame retardant dispersed in the matrix.
