Method for manufacturing a dye scavenging substrate

A method for manufacturing a dye scavenging substrate which comprises the steps of: (a) providing an absorbent substrate; (b) passing the substrate through a bath containing an alkaline solution of a dye scavenging compound selected from: (i) a N-trisubstituted ammonium-2-hydroxy-3-halopropyl compound having the general formula (I), or (ii) a salt of epoxy propyl ammonium having the general formula (II), or a combination thereof; (c) subjecting the substrate to a pressure of from about 0.04 MPa to about 0.40 MPa; (d) wrapping the substrate in a water impermeable material and rotating the substrate for a period of from about 12 hours to about 60 hours; (e) removing the water impermeable material and passing the substrate through a bath containing an acid solution; (f) subjecting the substrate to a pressure of from about 0.15 MPa to about 0.40 MPa; and (g) drying the substrate.

FIBER TREATMENT AGENT, FIBERS FOR ARTIFICIAL HAIR AND HEADDRESS PRODUCT

A fiber treatment agent can provide artificial hair fiber with smooth and dry texture. A fiber treatment agent includes water; silicone oil; and ionic liquid. Content of the sum of the silicone oil and the ionic liquid with respect to the water is 2 parts by weight or more and less than 10 parts by weight. Content of the silicone oil with respect to the weight of the water is more than 0.5 parts by weight and 9.5 parts by weight or less. Content of the ionic liquid with respect to the weight of the water is 0.2 parts by weight or more and 5.0 parts by weight or less.

Liquid fabric conditioner composition and method of use

The invention includes a method of conditioning fabrics, comprising contacting fabric with a liquid composition comprising an amino-functional silicone and a quaternary ammonium, and drying said fabric at 200 degrees F. or greater. The invention includes a method of conditioning fabrics, comprising washing fabric in a detergent having a wash pH of greater than 10, contacting fabric with a liquid composition comprising an amino-functional silicone and a quaternary ammonium, and drying said fabric at less than 200 degrees F. The invention further provides a method of conditioning fabrics wherein softness, anti-static, and anti-wrinkle properties are imparted to the fabric wherein the conditioned fabric resists yellowing in industrial and institutional conditions wherein the wash pH is greater than 9 and/or the fabric temperature is 200 degrees Fahrenheit or greater.

Solid fabric conditioner composition and method of use

The present invention relates to a composition and method for treating a textile under industrial and institutional fabric care conditions to impart softness with reduced yellowing. More particularly, the present invention relates to a solid fabric conditioning composition and a method for treating a textile with a solid fabric conditioning composition.
