20220055355 · 2022-02-24 ·

A laminated surface covering including a facing material made of vinyl and a backing material comprising a rubber component. The rubber component comprising at least a matrix of bonded rubber granules. A bonding material disposed between the facing material and the backing material. The facing material configured to melt at a temperature between 165° F. and 248° F. infiltrating the backing material thereby essentially encasing the rubber granules of the matrix and providing fire retardation and smoke suppression qualities.

Carpet Tile and Method of Manufacturing Same

The carpet tile system uses preferably Aluminum Hydroxide (Al(OH).sub.3) as a flame retardant in the secondary backing of the carpet tile or in the pre-coat adhesive on the primary backing, or alternatively uses Magnesium Hydroxide (Mg(OH).sub.2). The flame retardant has been optimized to interact with the other components of the system to produce a carpet tile that achieves flammability ratings that are comparable or superior to carpet tiles with more expensive pile fibers.

Multilayer Structure for the Production of a Heating Floor or Wall Covering
20170245326 · 2017-08-24 ·

A multilayer structure for the production of a heating floor or wall covering or similar includes a decorative layer made up of at least one plastic surface layer. The decorative layer is bonded onto a heating layer, which heating layer is bonded onto a sublayer intended to be installed on the floor or a wall or the like. The heating layer is made up of a conductive band comprising conductive particles homogeneously distributed over the surface and/or in the thickness of said conductive band, which supports at least three conductive electrodes spaced from one another so as to define a discontinuous heating surface.

WATER-REDISPERSIBLE POLYMER POWDERS FOR CARPET COATING COMPOSITIONS

The use of redsipersible polymer powders containing no organic emulsifier for a binder in the production of carpeting is surprisingly superior to use of the same polymers in the form of an aqueous dispersion. Tuft removal force in particular, is improved. The compositions contain no thickener, or a reduced level of thickener.

SYNTHETIC RESIN SKIN MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A synthetic resin skin material and a manufacturing method thereof, the synthetic resin skin material including, in this order: a base fabric; a thermoplastic resin layer having a storage elastic modulus at 160° C. of 2,000,000 Pa or less measured in accordance with JIS K 7244 (1998); and a skin layer containing a urethane resin, wherein the synthetic resin skin material has recesses at a side of the skin layer, the recesses having a depth, in a thickness direction of the synthetic resin skin material, that extends from the skin layer as far as an inner part of the thermoplastic resin layer, past a boundary that is present between the skin layer and the thermoplastic resin layer at a non-recessed region.

Multi-layered sheet suitable as floor or wall covering exhibiting a three-dimensional relief and a decorative image

The present invention relates to a multi-layered sheet suitable as floor or wall covering exhibiting a three-dimensional surface relief and a decorative image, comprising: i. a support layer having an upper surface and a lower surface; ii. a foamed layer having an upper surface and a lower surface, the lower surface of the foamed layer provided adjacent, and adherent to the upper surface of the support layer, the upper surface of the foamed layer comprising a discontinuous chemically embossed relief pattern, wherein the discontinuous chemically embossed relief pattern comprises indentations formed by single or stacked dots of a digitally printed material comprising a foam inhibiting agent; and optionally iii. a decorative layer adhered to the upper surface of the foamed layer; and optionally iv. at least one wear resistant layer provided adjacent and adhered to the decorative layer; and optionally v. a backing layer provided adjacent and adhered to the lower surface of the support layer.
