The present invention relates to a carpet backing layer composition, comprising: —100 parts by weight of a polyolefins or a blend of polyolefins and optionally a blend of oils, wax and tackifiers, said polyolefin or polyolefin blend comprising at least 0% by weight of (co)polymerized C3-C8 alfa-olefins—between 100 and 900 parts by weight of one or more inorganic filler(s) characterized by a volume median particle diameter (D50) comprised between 10 and 1000 μm; —the backing layer composition having a heat of fusion within the temperature range of from 10 to 40° C. (ΔH.sup.10.fwdarw.40° C.) that is less than 12.5% of the heat of fusion of the backing layer within the temperature range of from 10 to 170° C. (ΔH.sup.10.fwdarw.170° C.), the heat of fusion being measured by Differential Scanning calorimetry. The invention further relates to a carpet comprising a carpet backing layer obtained from the carpet backing layer composition and a method for the preparation of the carpet.

Polyester tufted carpet with polyester extrusion coating

The present invention relates polyester tufted carpet where the tufts are engaged with a primary polyester backing and where a polyester extrusion coating is applied to the backside of the primary backing to lock the tufts which therefore avoids the use of a latex adhesive.

SHOE COMPRISING A SOLE OF A THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL AND A METHOD FOR USE IN MANUFACTURING SUCH A SHOE
20210330025 · 2021-10-28 ·

The present invention pertains to a new shoe comprising a sole of a thermoplastic material adhered to an upper shoe with a hot melt adhesive that is applied between the sole and the upper shoe, wherein the hot melt adhesive is fused with the thermoplastic material. Advantageously, the fusion is brought about by heating the hot melt adhesive to a temperature THM such that it softens, heating the second body such that the thermoplastic material that has a melting temperature TM obtains a temperature T.sub.SUB below T.sub.M while making sure that (T.sub.HM+T.sub.SUB)/2 is equal to or higher than (T.sub.M−10° C.).

Method for producing textile products, products obtainable therefrom and method to reclaim the products

The present invention pertains to a method for manufacturing a laminated textile product comprising providing a first intermediate product comprising a primary backing having a front surface and a back surface, and yarns stitched into the primary backing, the yarns extending from the front surface of the backing material, feeding the intermediate product along a body having a heated surface, the back surface being pressed against the said heated surface, to at least partly melt the yarns present in the intermediate product to bond the yarns to the backing, wherein the part of the back surface that is pressed against the heated surface has a relative speed with respect to the heated surface, so as to provide a second intermediate product having a calendered back surface, providing a dimensionally stable carrier sheet or secondary backing, and connecting the second intermediate product to the carrier sheet by providing a hot melt adhesive between the calendered surface and the sheet, and pressing the sheet to the second intermediate product to form the textile product.

ARTIFICIAL LEATHER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

The present disclosure is relates to an artifical leather and a. manufacturing method thereof. The artifical leather includes a substrate, a TPU adhering layer, a TPU layer and a surface layer. The substrate includes a first surface and a second surface. The TPU adhering layer is disposed on the first surface of the substrate. The TPU layer is disposed on the TPU adhering layer. The density of the TPU layer is 0.6-0.9 g/cm.sup.3. The surface layer is disposed on the TPU layer. By utilizing the above density, the artifical leather of the present invention has high peeling strength to improve the property of the material. In addition, by using the TPU layer, the artifical leather of the present invention has a texture of leather.
