THERMOPLASTIC ARTIFICIAL LEATHER AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A thermoplastic artificial leather is provided, which includes a first structure layer, a second structure layer, a plurality of recycled particles, and a third structure layer, in which the second structure layer is disposed on the first structure layer, the plurality of recycled particles disposed on the second structure layer, and the third structure layer is disposed to cover the plurality of recycled particles. According to above stacked structure, the thermoplastic artificial leather with environment friendly is formed, and the plurality of recycled particles is processed in a physical manner, which can solve the problem, the environmental protection issue, caused by the use of solvent to process the recycled particle in the prior art. Use of the material characteristics of each structure layer to reprocess the recycled particles, so the reprocess procedure without using any solvent, so the environmental pollution and the production cost are greatly reduced.
RECYCLED RUBBER BACKED CUSHIONED VINYL
A laminated surface covering including a facing material made of vinyl and a backing material comprising a rubber component. The rubber component comprising at least a matrix of bonded rubber granules. A bonding material disposed between the facing material and the backing material. The facing material configured to melt at a temperature between 165° F. and 248° F. infiltrating the backing material thereby essentially encasing the rubber granules of the matrix and providing fire retardation and smoke suppression qualities.
COCONUT HARD SHELL GRANULAR INFILL FOR SYNTHETIC SPORT FIELDS
Coconut crumb can serve as an infill material on synthetic turf fields in the place of tire crumb. The crumbs are less than 10 mm big and have smooth corners and edges. The process of producing the coconut crumb involves successive grinding or milling processes that reduce the inner hard shell of the coconut to particles of an appropriate size for infill, while screening out the unwanted material from being included in the infill.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ARTIFICIAL TURF
The invention relates to method for producing an artificial turf, comprising the following steps: providing a carrier material having a top and a bottom, providing a plurality of fibres, wherein each fibre comprises two ends extending from the top of the carrier material and comprising a connected region arranged in a loop-like manner at the bottom of the carrier material; feeding the carrier material with the fibres to a heated rotating calender roller; guiding the carrier material with the fibres over at least one sub-region of the surface of the heated rotating calender roller, wherein the connected regions of the fibres and the bottom of the carrier material face the calender roller; during the guiding of the carrier material with the fibres over the at least one sub-region of the surface of the heated rotating calender roller: transferring heat from the heated rotating calender roller to the carrier material with the fibres, and fusing the connected regions of the fibres with the bottom of the carrier material to the artificial turf, and removing and cooling the artificial turf. The invention further relates to an artificial turf comprising: a carrier material having a top and a bottom; a plurality of fibres, wherein each fibre comprises two ends extending from the top of the carrier material and comprising a connected region arranged in a loop-like manner at the bottom of the carrier material, wherein the carrier material is fused at the bottom to the connected regions of the fibres.
SURFACE COVERINGS INCLUDING CARBON SEQUESTERING MATERIALS AND METHODS OF MAKING
Floor coverings, such as modular panels or tiles, for installation on interior surfaces include one or more layers, for example, an upper wear layer and a backing layer, where at least one layer includes a filler that includes a carbon negative material, such as concentrated carbon. The carbon negative material can sequester carbon such that the resulting floor covering has a negative carbon footprint when subjected to a Life Cycle Assessment.
COFFEE RECYCLED VEGAN LEATHER SHEET AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A coffee recycled vegan leather sheet and the method for manufacturing the coffee recycled vegan leather sheet may include: a coffee grounds powder manufacturing step of drying coffee grounds to remove moisture, and pulverizing a dried coffee grounds to produce micronized coffee grounds powder; a first mixing step of mixing the coffee grounds powder obtained from the coffee grounds powder manufacturing step and a shaving scrap and latex, which are usually used as raw materials for recycled leather, into a mixing tank, respectively, and a second mixing step of adding a fatliquoring agent and a dispersing agent for imparting flexibility to the mixture into the mixing tank for mixing; a coffee regenerated leather molding step of drying the mixture that has undergone the secondary mixing step and passing it between pressing rolls to compression-mold it into regenerated coffee leather.
COCONUT HARD SHELL GRANULAR INFILL FOR SYNTHETIC SPORT FIELDS
A coconut material comprising short fibers having a length in a range of 0.5 to 25 millimeters. A method to produce short fibers includes processing coconut husks to separate coir material comprised of pith and fiber from the husks, separating short coconut fibers having a length in the rage of 0.5 to 25 millimeters from the coir material, and packaging the short coconut fibers. The method may include softening the short fibers.
Reuse of paint-saturated alkaline earth metal carbonates
Methods are provided for beneficially reusing a paint-saturated filter aid, such as paint-saturated alkaline earth metal carbonates, as a substitute in applications requiring virgin alkaline earth metal carbonates. The paint-saturated filter aid is prepared by re-milling paint-saturated filter aid to a predetermined size to produce re-milled particles suitable for reuse in a variety of applications, including flooring, concrete, and the like. Also provided are flooring materials including re-milled particles of a paint-saturated filter aid characterized by one or more of: a median particle size (D50) of about 1 to about 50 microns; less than about 5% of the re-milled particles being retained on a 200 mesh screen; or a top cut size (D90) of about 5 to about 300 microns.
