Artificial leather and method for producing the same

The present invention relates to an artificial leather and a method for producing the same. The artificial leather includes a substrate, a thermoplastic polyurethane fiber adhesive layer, a thermoplastic polyurethane fiber layer, a paste layer, and a surface layer. The paste layer has a thermosetting paste or a high solid-content paste, and the paste has a specific adhesive temperature. A bonding can be performed at low temperature in the method for producing the same, and the artificial leather made by the method for producing the same has excellent hand feeling and/or smoothness.

THERMOPLASTIC ARTIFICIAL LEATHER AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A thermoplastic artificial leather is provided, which includes a first structure layer, a second structure layer, a plurality of recycled particles, and a third structure layer, in which the second structure layer is disposed on the first structure layer, the plurality of recycled particles disposed on the second structure layer, and the third structure layer is disposed to cover the plurality of recycled particles. According to above stacked structure, the thermoplastic artificial leather with environment friendly is formed, and the plurality of recycled particles is processed in a physical manner, which can solve the problem, the environmental protection issue, caused by the use of solvent to process the recycled particle in the prior art. Use of the material characteristics of each structure layer to reprocess the recycled particles, so the reprocess procedure without using any solvent, so the environmental pollution and the production cost are greatly reduced.

Stabilization of fabric surfaces

A textile fabric having improved properties, variously including surface stability, abrasion resistance, resistance to edge fraying, moisture control, and resistance to fluid penetration is created by introducing a polymeric solution or a plurality of low-melting particles suspended in a liquid into the textile fabric while leaving a plurality of surface fibers exposed and maintaining a textile feel on the surface.

Washable Carpet Tile

This invention relates to tufted floorcovering articles that are washable in commercial, industrial, and/or residential washing machines. In particular, this invention relates to modular carpet tiles that are constructed in such a way as to withstand exposure to at least one wash cycle in an automatic washing machine. The carpet tiles are designed to be soiled, washed, and re-used, thereby providing ideal end-use applications such as entryway floorcovering articles. A further advantage includes the ability to print advertising logos on the carpet tiles and easily change out the advertising logos as desired. Both features of the carpet tile of the present invention are achievable, at least in part, because the surface of the tile that contacts the floor does not require any type of adhesive in order to use the carpet tile for its intended function.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ARTIFICIAL TURF

The invention relates to method for producing an artificial turf, comprising the following steps: providing a carrier material having a top and a bottom, providing a plurality of fibres, wherein each fibre comprises two ends extending from the top of the carrier material and comprising a connected region arranged in a loop-like manner at the bottom of the carrier material; feeding the carrier material with the fibres to a heated rotating calender roller; guiding the carrier material with the fibres over at least one sub-region of the surface of the heated rotating calender roller, wherein the connected regions of the fibres and the bottom of the carrier material face the calender roller; during the guiding of the carrier material with the fibres over the at least one sub-region of the surface of the heated rotating calender roller: transferring heat from the heated rotating calender roller to the carrier material with the fibres, and fusing the connected regions of the fibres with the bottom of the carrier material to the artificial turf, and removing and cooling the artificial turf. The invention further relates to an artificial turf comprising: a carrier material having a top and a bottom; a plurality of fibres, wherein each fibre comprises two ends extending from the top of the carrier material and comprising a connected region arranged in a loop-like manner at the bottom of the carrier material, wherein the carrier material is fused at the bottom to the connected regions of the fibres.

BIODEGRADABLE SYNTHETIC LEATHER PRODUCED FROM RECYCLED MATERIAL

A synthetic leather is a layered material that includes a biodegradable layer, a backing layer, and an adhesive layer. The layered material is formed by bonding a first surface of the biodegradable layer to a first surface of the backing layer through the adhesive layer. In some embodiments, the biodegradable layer is made from a mixture of polyurethane (or other plastics such as polyvinyl chloride), a biodegradable additive, and in some cases, a colorant. The biodegradable additive in the mixture enhances biodegradability of polyurethane. In some embodiments, there is 1 to 2 wt % of the biodegradable additive in the synthetic leather. The backing layer is a layer of plastic fibers made from recycled plastic products. The plastic fibers can be PET, nylon, or acrylic fibers. A biodegradable coating may be formed on a second surface of the backing layer to further enhance biodegradability of the layered material.
