Textile composites for garments including footwear uppers and footwear comprising the same that provide protection from flame and liquid water whilst at the same time being lightweight and flexible for the wearer. The textile composite comprises a microfiber outer layer; a nonwoven layer, and in some embodiments a porous polymeric membrane on a support layer.

3D printed articles of footwear with particles

The present invention generally relates to methods of printing articles using three-dimensional printing and other printing techniques, and to articles formed from such techniques, including the printing of articles of footwear containing particles. Certain embodiments are generally directed to composites comprising particles (e.g., reinforcing particles), for example, rubber particles. The particles may be used, for example, to increase slip or abrasion resistance. The composites may also contain polyurethanes or other compounds, e.g., to facilitate fabrication, e.g., using three-dimensional printing and other printing techniques. Other embodiments are directed to methods of making or using such articles. For example, in some embodiments, a composite may be prepared by mixing particles (e.g., reinforcing particles) with at least a first fluid and a second fluid within a nozzle, such as a microfluidic printing nozzle, which may be used to direct the resulting product onto a substrate.

A composite material contains a nonwoven layer (i) which contains fibers formed from a first thermoplastic elastomer having meshes with a mesh size in the range from 10 to 100 μm, and a membrane layer (ii) which contains a second thermoplastic elastomer and having a layer thickness of less than 30 μm. The membrane is either pore-free (ii.1) or is porous and has pores with an average pore diameter of less than 2000 nm (ii.2). The membrane (ii) is at least partially in direct contact with the fibers of the nonwoven layer (i) and covers the mesh openings in the nonwoven layer (i) at least partially. The fibers of the first nonwoven layer (i) and the membrane (ii) in the contact area are at least partly joined to one another in an interlocking manner.

FRUIT EXTRACT LEATHER AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
20230088764 · 2023-03-23 ·

This application provides a fruit extract leather. The fruit extract leather includes a prepolymer material A, a prepolymer material B, and a base fabric. The prepolymer material A includes a fruit powder, and the fruit powder is obtained by grinding a remaining residue material obtained after fruit peels and/or fruit kernels are extracted. This application further provides a method for preparing the fruit extract leather. According to the fruit extract leather and the preparation method thereof provided in this application, polyester and other components in leather are substituted, fruit peels and/or fruit kernels are recycled, and waste and environmental pollution are reduced.

Cellulite diminishing fabric

Disclosed is a fabric having a first side and a second side, that is provided at least on part of the first side with a pattern of protrusions, wherein the protrusions comprise an expanded heat-expanding material, namely a heat-expanding material that has been expanded by heating. A polymeric layer is provided to the woven fabric to coat at least part of the protrusions. Also disclosed is a process for the production of the fabric and a garment comprising the fabric.

Synthetic leather

The present invention provides a synthetic leather including at least a base material (i), an adhesive layer (ii), and a skin layer (iii), wherein both the adhesive layer (ii) and the skin layer (iii) are formed of a urethane resin composition containing an anionic urethane resin having an anionic group concentration of 0.25 mmol/g or less, water, and an anionic surfactant. Preferably, the anionic surfactant is an alkylsulfosuccinate. The anionic group concentration of the anionic urethane resin is preferably within the range of 0.005 to 0.25 mmol/g and more preferably within the range of 0.01 to 0.2 mmol/g.

Polyolefin-based synthetic leather and articles formed therefrom

A variety of plates for footwear are provided including a polyolefin resin. Sole structures and articles of footwear formed therefrom are also provided. Methods of making the polyolefin resin compositions, plates, sole structures, and articles of footwear are also provided. In some aspects, the polyolefin resin composition includes an effective amount of a polymeric resin modifier. The effective amount can be an amount effective to allow the resin composition to pass a flex test, and in particular to pass a flex test without significant change in abrasion loss. In some aspects, the resin composition also includes a clarifying agent to improve optical clarity of the plate. In some aspects, the plates include a textile disposed on one or both of a first side and the second side of the plate. The textile can provide for improved bonding of the plate to other components such as a chassis or an upper.
