THERMOPLASTIC ARTIFICIAL LEATHER AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A thermoplastic artificial leather is provided, which includes a first structure layer, a second structure layer, a plurality of recycled particles, and a third structure layer, in which the second structure layer is disposed on the first structure layer, the plurality of recycled particles disposed on the second structure layer, and the third structure layer is disposed to cover the plurality of recycled particles. According to above stacked structure, the thermoplastic artificial leather with environment friendly is formed, and the plurality of recycled particles is processed in a physical manner, which can solve the problem, the environmental protection issue, caused by the use of solvent to process the recycled particle in the prior art. Use of the material characteristics of each structure layer to reprocess the recycled particles, so the reprocess procedure without using any solvent, so the environmental pollution and the production cost are greatly reduced.

The membrane is either pore-free (ii.1) or is porous and has pores with an average pore diameter of less than 2000 nm (ii.2). The membrane (ii) is at least partially in direct contact with the fibers of the nonwoven layer (i) and covers the mesh openings in the nonwoven layer (i) at least partially. The fibers of the first nonwoven layer (i) and the membrane (ii) in the contact area are at least partly joined to one another in an interlocking manner.

The present invention provides a high-molecular-weight polyether polyol ensuring that when used as a polyurethane raw material, a polyurethane having excellent flexibility and elastic recovery can be obtained; and a method for producing, with high productivity, a polyether polyol having a higher number average molecular weight and a narrower molecular weight distribution than those of the raw material polyether polyol, and the polyether polyol of the present invention has a number average molecular weight of 3,500 to 5,500 and a molecular weight distribution of 1.7 to 3.0.

ARTIFICIAL LEATHER AND LIGHT-TRANSMITTING DEVICE FABRICATED USING THE SAME

Provided is an artificial leather, which exhibits light transmitting properties and maintains its texture and touch while being dark-colored and having a medium or higher density, the artificial leather including a fiber entangled body formed of ultrafine fibers having an average single fiber diameter of 0.1 to μm; and an elastomer, in which the artificial leather has a thickness of 0.4 to 1.2 mm and a weight per unit area of 80 to 450 g/m.sup.2, where one surface of the artificial leather is a design surface colored with a dye and/or a pigment and satisfies the following Formulas (1) to (3):

ARTIFICIAL LEATHER

An artificial leather is provided that has supple flexibility, moderate resilience while being dense and satisfactory thickness, where the artificial leather includes, as constituent elements, a nonwoven fabric containing ultrafine fibers having an average single-fiber diameter of 0.1 μm or more and 10 μm or less, and an elastomer, the artificial leather satisfying Formulas (a) and (b) below:

where F.sub.A, F.sub.B, and F.sub.C are respectively the fiber density (g/cm.sup.3) in a layer on one surface side, the fiber density (g/cm.sup.3) in a layer at the center in the thickness direction, and the fiber density (g/cm.sup.3) in a layer on the other surface side when the artificial leather is trisected in the thickness direction.

NAPPED ARTIFICIAL LEATHER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

A napped artificial leather includes: a fiber-entangled body obtained by entangling ultrafine fibers: and an elastic polymer impregnated into the fiber-entangled body. The napped artificial leather has, on at least one side thereof, a napped surface formed by napping the ultrafine fibers. The ultrafine fibers contain 0.2 to 8 mass% of carbon black and 0.1 to 5 mass% of a chromatic pigment, and a total ratio of the carbon black and the chromatic pigment is 0.3 to 10 mass%. A content ratio of the elastic polymer is 0.1 to 15 mass% in the napped artificial leather. The elastic polymer is uncolored and the ultrafine fibers are undyed.

Elastic artificial leather and production method therefor

Disclosed herein is a method for producing an elastically stretchable artificial leather, which includes the steps of forming microfiberizable fibers into a web, entangling the obtained web to produce an entangled nonwoven fabric, converting the microfiberizable fibers in the nonwoven fabric to microfine fibers thereby producing a substrate for artificial leather, producing an artificial leather from the obtained substrate for artificial leather, bringing the obtained artificial leather into close contact with an elastomer sheet stretched in a machine direction by 5 to 40%, shrinking the artificial leather in the machine direction simultaneously with the elastomer sheet by relaxing elongation of the elastomer sheet to obtain an artificial leather in shrunk state, heat treating the artificial leather in shrunk state, and then peeling the heat treated artificial leather off from the elastomer sheet.
