Multi-threat protection composite
A multi-threat protection composite containing at least 15 textile layers having an upper and lower surface and a non-blocking pressure sensitive adhesive (NonB-PSA) composition on at least the upper surface of each textile layer. The NonB-PSA coating contains a pressure sensitive adhesive and a plurality of first inorganic particles, wherein the ratio by weight of the first inorganic particles to the pressure sensitive adhesive is greater than about 1.2 and wherein the NonB-PSA coating is in an amount of at least about 10 g/m.sup.2 on each surface the NonB-PSA coating is located. The first inorganic particles have a median primary particle size of less than about 5 micrometers.
A KIND OF LIGHT-TRANSPARENT ARTIFICIAL LEATHER AND A PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR, AND AN AUTOMOTIVE INTERIOR
A preparation method for producing a light-transparent artificial leather comprises the steps of: mixing, stirring, grinding, filtering and defoaming primary raw materials, including toner with a particle size of 0.5˜10 nm, polymer powder and a plasticizer, to produce a light-transparent pigment; mixing the light-transparent pigment with secondary raw materials, including polymer powder, a plasticizer, a stabilizer and an inorganic additive, and stirring, grinding, filtering and defoaming the mixture to produce a light-transparent epidermal layer material; mixing a base fabric, glue and a support layer material with the epidermal layer material and making the mixture into a semi-finished artificial leather product, which comprises the light-transparent epidermal layer, a support layer, a glue layer and a base fabric; and applying a surface treating agent on to the surface of the light-transparent epidermal layer to produce a light-transparent artificial leather (e.g., for an automobile interior).
NON-FOAMED AQUEOUS COMPOSITION
A non-foamed aqueous composition has a 5-50% solids and a zero shear viscosity of 100-1000 mPa-sec at 25° C. This composition has at least the four components: i) porous particles at 0.1-20 weight %, and optionally an opacifying colorant; ii) a film-forming binder material comprising at least a chlorinated polymer at 4-20 weight %; iii) a white inorganic particulate filler material having a refraction index (RI) greater than 2 and a median particle size of less than 1 μm, at 2-15 weight %; and iv) a white low-density particulate hydrated alumina having a median particle size of less than or equal to 3 μm, at 2-16 weight %. This non-foamed aqueous composition can be applied to fabric substrates to reduce outside light glare without changing inside light coloration and light-blocking properties.
SELECTIVELY WEIGHTED AND GRIPPED FABRIC
An improvement in the field of fabrics, wherein the fabrics provide improvements such as weighted regions (20) and grip locations (40). Currently, wearable weights are very limited in many ways such as, but not limited to, placement of the weights, fit of wearable weight to the user's body, sustained placement of the wearable weight during athletic use. The fabric (10) provides a solution to this problem by allowing the integrating the weights and other features into the material of any article of clothing or similar fabric object. The fabric (10) affords the user the comfort, flexible and other advantages typical of athletic clothing along with added benefits of weight training. Further, the grip locations (40) provide surface friction for athletic applications such as, but not limited to, fitness workouts and yoga. The principal use of the fabric (10) is as an article of clothing.
Artificial Leather and Production Method Therefor
Provided is an artificial leather that has texture (stiffness), a luxuriant feel (dispersibility of fiber bundles), and a slick feel (resin clusters of appropriate size) and can be used suitably as a seat cover material or interior design material for interiors, cars, airplanes, railway cars, etc. and garment accessory products. This artificial leather comprises a fiber sheet and a polyurethane resin and is characterized in that: the fiber sheet comprises at least a fiber layer (A) that forms a first outer surface of the artificial leather; the k-nearest neighbor distance proportion (k=9, radius r=20 μm) between cross-sections of single fibers configuring the fiber layer (A) in a thickness direction cross-section of the artificial leather is 10-80%; the cross-sectional polyurethane resin area ratio in a thickness direction cross-section of the fiber layer (A) is 10-30%; and the standard deviation of the cross-sectional polyurethane resin area ratio in a thickness direction cross-section of the fiber layer (A) is 25% or less.
Thermal stabilizer material, method of obtaining and uses thereof
The present disclosure relates to the use of eggshell particles as a polymer thermal stabilizer, preferably as a poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) thermal stabilizer; also to a flexible material comprising a multi-layered PVC-based material, method of obtaining and uses thereof.
An aspect of the present disclosure relates to a material comprising a poly(vinyl chloride), PVC, layer comprising eggshell particles, wherein the eggshell particle size is up to 200 μm, an intermediate layer or a plurality of intermediate layers; a support layer selected from the following list: fabric, knitted fabric, nonwoven, foam, or mixtures thereof; wherein the layers are bounded. Preferably a material solution free of azodicarbonamide, for automotive Interiors—Eco-friendlier, preferably sustainable artificial leather for automotive upholsteries.
ADSORBENT MATERIAL
A flexible material is disclosed comprising a flexible substrate, a sorbent comprising zirconium hydroxide and a binder, wherein the solids weight ratio of the binder to the zirconium hydroxide is in the range 1:1 to 1:120. Also disclosed is a process for production of a fabric, comprising: providing a flexible material, providing at least one sorbent dispersion comprising zirconium hydroxide and a binder, applying the sorbent dispersion to the flexible material to produce a treated flexible material, squeezing the treated flexible material under pressure, and passing the pressed treated flexible material through a stenter.
THERMOPLASTIC ARTIFICIAL LEATHER AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A thermoplastic artificial leather is provided, which includes a first structure layer, a second structure layer, a plurality of recycled particles, and a third structure layer, in which the second structure layer is disposed on the first structure layer, the plurality of recycled particles disposed on the second structure layer, and the third structure layer is disposed to cover the plurality of recycled particles. According to above stacked structure, the thermoplastic artificial leather with environment friendly is formed, and the plurality of recycled particles is processed in a physical manner, which can solve the problem, the environmental protection issue, caused by the use of solvent to process the recycled particle in the prior art. Use of the material characteristics of each structure layer to reprocess the recycled particles, so the reprocess procedure without using any solvent, so the environmental pollution and the production cost are greatly reduced.
GERMANIUM FINE PARTICLE INCLUDED FUNCTIONAL MICRO-CAPSULE AND FABRIC COMPRISING THE FUNCTIONAL MICRO-CAPSULE
Proposed are a functional microcapsule processed to contain therein a germanium component having various physiologically active characteristics and a functional textile fabric to which the functional microcapsules are applied. The functional microcapsule includes a lipophilic oil, germanium ore powder or germanium oxide powder dispersed in the oil, and a shell made of a polymer material and containing therein the oil in which the germanium ore powder or germanium oxide powder is dispersed. These proposals may solve the problem of poor resistance to washing and poor washing durability, which have been pointed out as problems with conventional use of germanium, and may facilitate attachment and fixing of germanium to various media.
