Floor covering material and method for manufacturing same
Floor covering material, wherein this floor covering material comprises at least a foamed layer, a printed decor provided thereon, and preferably a transparent wear layer, wherein the printed decor represents a plurality of panel-shaped or tile-shaped elements, wherein at the edges of said represented elements, lowered edge regions are formed, which form at least a portion of the circumference of the respective element, wherein said lowered edge regions, seen in cross-section, are realized with at least two different geometries. The invention further also relates to a method for manufacturing such floor covering material.
MODULAR AMBULATORY SURFACE
A modular ambulatory surface exhibits terrain variations for emulating a walking surface for ambulatory rehabilitation. Ambulatory mobility, or basic walking from alternated leg movements, is one of the most basic capabilities enjoyed by humans, and therefore can be devastating if suddenly compromised. A number of modular surfaces each exhibit different terrain qualities, and are joined together according to a prescribed sequence of desired, rehabilitative terrain. A flexible or resilient walking surface encapsulates shaped, load bearing elements that define the rehabilitative walking surface. Joinable edges have a pattern of protrusion, receptacles or similar fixtures for coupling to an adjacent module. A series of joined, modular surfaces allows simulation of an outdoor surface and variations thereof that are otherwise difficult to provide in a modern commercial facility with fixed planar flooring.
TEXTURED FABRIC SURFACES SEALED WITH OVERLAID POLYMERIC LAYERS
A textile fabric with a three-dimensional contour that blocks fluid penetration at the surface is created by attaching a solid liquid-blocking polymeric layer conforming to the contours of the surface to a fabric layer. The surface includes elevated areas, depressed areas, a plurality of surface fibers and gaps among the plurality the plurality of surface fibers. The liquid-blocking polymeric layer is forced to follow the contours of the surface fibers and gaps using vacuum, heat and forced air. The resulting textile fabric maintains a textile appearance.

Glass fibre mat and products containing glass fibre mats
A glass fiber mat comprises glass fibers of a first kind, glass fibers of a second kind and a binding agent. Glass fibers of the first kind in this case are characterized by a mean fiber diameter of under 6 m and compliance with the EC Protocol ECB/TM/27 rev. 7 and glass fibers of the second kind by a mean fiber diameter of over 6 m. The ratio between the weight component of glass fibers of the first kind and the weight component of glass fibers of the second kind is between 0.01 and 0.15. And the surface weight of the glass fiber mat is between 25 g/m2 and 80 g/m2. In a CV floor covering comprising a usable layer and a structural layer, the structural layer comprises a glass fiber mat of this kind provided with impregnation.
