ELECTROCHROMIC WIRE THREAD AND RELATIVE FABRICS

The present invention is directed to eyectrochromic, supercapacitor yarns and the related fabrics. An electrochromic yarn formed by two interwind threads has been invented. The yarn is electrically isolated by a transparent, uncolored polymer. Each thread is the superposition of three concentric layers. The most internal one, the core, has the function of support and/or conductive layer, the second one is the eiectrochromic layer containing conductive nanoparticies, the third layer is a polymer dielectric blend. The yarns described above allows to generate electrochromic fabrics in which the colour can be varied by the application of small electric voltages fed by a battery with variable power supply controlled by a microprocessor connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth technology. A specific application on the smartphone allows to change the voltage supply to the fabrics, in order to get the desired chromatic change.

INFUSIBLE WATERBORNE PIGMENTED RESIN COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF PREPARING AND USING THE SAME

Described herein are compositions useful for infusing color into nonwoven polyester containing product and methods to do so. Such compositions and methods comprise use of a color infusion composition comprising an antimigrant polymer; pigment; ammonium polyphosphate; and an anionic surfactant comprising phosphate. In certain embodiments, thermoplastic polymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 93.0° C. or less is used to enhance color infusion.

TEXTILE MATERIALS CONTAINING DYED POLYPHENYLENE SULFIDE FIBERS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

A textile material comprises a plurality of yarns, the yarns containing an intimate blend of dyed polyphenylene sulfide fibers and cellulosic fibers. The dyed polyphenylene sulfide fibers comprising a disperse dye that is distributed substantially evenly across the cross-sectional area of the fibers. A method for dyeing textile materials containing polyphenylene sulfide fibers comprises the steps of (a) providing a textile material comprising yarns which contain an intimate blend of polyphenylene sulfide fibers and cellulosic fibers, (b) providing a dye liquor comprising a liquid medium and a disperse dye, (c) applying the dye liquor to the textile material, (d) heating the textile material under ambient atmosphere to a temperature sufficient to evaporate substantially all of the liquid medium from the textile material, and (e) heating the textile material under ambient atmosphere to a temperature of about 180° C. or more to fix the disperse dye to the polyphenylene sulfide fibers.

Ink compositions

A composition including a disperse dye and an aqueous carrier having a first polyol and a second polyol having at least 5 carbon has atoms, wherein the composition has a color fastness to water of at least 3 according to International Organization for Standardization test ISO 105-EO1:2010 when used in direct inkjet printing on a ready-to-print polyester textile.

WHITE INKJET INK

An example of a white inkjet ink includes: a non-self-dispersed white pigment; from about 0.005 wt % to about 1 wt %, based on a total weight of the white inkjet ink, of an anionic copolymer dispersant having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) ranging from about 125,000 g/mol to about 30,000,000 g/mol; a polymeric binder; and an aqueous vehicle. The white inkjet ink may be used in a textile printing kit.

FLUID SETS FOR TEXTILE PRINTING

A fluid set for textile printing can include an ink composition including an ink vehicle, pigment, and from 1 wt % to 15 wt % epoxide-reactive polymer. The fluid set can also include a fixer fluid including a fixer vehicle, and from 0.5 wt % to 12 wt % of a multiepoxide-containing resin.
