FABRIC TREATMENT AGENT, TEXTILE PRINTING INK SET, TEXTILE PRINTING METHOD, AND TEXTILE PRINTED FABRIC
A fabric treatment agent that is used in textile printing with a sublimable color material includes a color-material scavenging compound having an Rf value of 0.7 or less according to paper chromatography performed under following conditions. In Procedure 1, cellulose filter paper is impregnated with a 10% solution of the color-material scavenging compound and then dried to prepare a carrier. In Procedure 2, a 0.1% solution of a sublimable color material in tetrahydrofuran is spotted on the carrier and then dried to prepare a development sample. In Procedure 3, the development sample is developed using acetonitrile as a solvent for 3 minutes at 25° C. In Procedure 4, the Rf value is calculated by a following formula:
Low Diffusivity Paper For Sublimation Printing
A protective barrier well suited for use in sublimation printing is made primarily from cellulose fibers. The protective barrier, which can comprise an uncoated paper, can be used to prevent sublimation inks from bleeding through a fabric onto the printing equipment. The uncoated paper is recyclable and can enter the paper recycle stream. The uncoated paper can contain first cellulose fibers combined and blended with second cellulose fibers that differ in fiber length and/or in the degree of refining. The uncoated paper is constructed to have a relatively low diffusivity.
POST-PRODUCTION METHOD FOR PERSONALIZING FLYING DISC TOYS
Flying disc toys are personalized with dye-sublimation printing using a heat press and dye-sublimation paper, onto which a design is printed. An assembled flying disc toy is disposed between a pad and a mask, in the heat press. The mask protects the ring of the flying disc toy from melting. The pad urges the fabric cover of the flying disc toy towards the paper and helps prevent crushing of the ring during pressing and the high-definition dye transfer sublimation printing.
Method for producing colored embroidery pattern
Disclosed is a method for producing an embroidery pattern through stitching to a substrate, particularly a method for producing a colored embroidery pattern having color disposition corresponding to a complex shape or stitches, simply and at low cost. The method includes: forming an embroidery base pattern to a substrate by use of single-color embroidery thread; printing a transfer image on an intermediate recording medium having a total light transmittance Tt of 60% or higher by use of a sublimable disperse dye, the transfer image being used for dyeing the embroidery thread of the embroidery base pattern; superposing the transfer image on the embroidery base pattern, while the intermediate recording medium is positioned from the backside of a printed surface of the recording medium; and heat-pressing the intermediate recording medium from the backside of the recording medium, to thereby dye the embroidery thread of the embroidery base pattern.
SUBLIMATION PRINTING
Examples relate to receiving image data of an image to be sublimation printed, wherein the image data comprising one or more colours to be printed, and a corresponding printing liquid density of the one or more colours. Based on the received image data, a sublimation energy to use to transfer printed printing liquid representing the image into a material is determined, and the determined sublimation energy is provided to a sublimator of a printer for transferring the image.
Dye sublimation calender
A fixation/transfer device for control of dye waste in a dye sublimation process. The device comprises a textile inlet, a textile outlet, a heat press or calender, an endless belt for driving the textile from the textile inlet to the textile outlet through the heat press, the heat press being held at a temperature sufficient to cause sublimation of the printing dye, and a cleaning station for cleaning the endless belt, the cleaning station being located downstream of the textile outlet and upstream of the textile outlet. The feed belt may be heated at the cleaning station so that sublimation may assist cleaning.
DYE-SUBLIMATION PAPER AND PRINTED DYE-SUBLIMATION PAPER
The present invention relates to a dye-sublimation paper for printing with a solution containing at least one dye-sublimation dye, comprising a base paper having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, characterised in that the first surface is a hornified surface, in that a further layer for binding and/or fixing the dye-sublimation dye is applied to the first surface, and in that the dye-sublimation paper has a roughness on the coated side of ≤4.5 μm, measured according to ISO 8791-4, and a grammage of ≤30 g/m.sup.2, measured according to ISO 536, and to a method for the production thereof, and to a dye-sublimation paper obtainable by this method.
DYEING DATA MANAGEMENT METHOD AND DYEING SYSTEM
A dyeing data management method is performed between dyeing systems disposed at different locations. The method includes a first dyeing step of dyeing a lens in a first dyeing system, a first acquisition step of acquiring first result color information of the lens dyed in the first dyeing system, a dyeing data creation step of creating dyeing data based on a discharge amount of dye in the first dyeing step and the first result color information, a data provision step of providing the dyeing data for dyeing a lens to a predetermined color from the first dyeing system to a second dyeing system, a second dyeing step of performing dyeing of a lens according to the provided dyeing data in the second dyeing system, and a second acquisition step of acquiring second result color information of the lens dyed in the second dyeing system.
Garment with customizable face covering
Disclosed herein is a customized garment a method of forming the customized garment. The method involves first forming a garment having an integrated gaiter coupled to a neckline of the customized garment. The integrated gaiter has a customizable insert coupled to a front portion of the integrated gaiter. The integrated gaiter is stretched over a platen so that an entirety of the customizable insert is flat. Heat transfer sublimation is used to transfer imagery from sublimation paper to the customizable insert.
Deep sublimation dyeing of fibrous composites
A textile composite contains a sublayer coated with unactivated solid sublimation dyes and incorporated with the layers of the textile composite or placed between a fabric layer and a backing layer. The sublimation dyes are activated with heat and pressure, and dying or coloring the inner strata of the textile composite.
