SUSTAINABLE FABRIC PREPARATION PROCESS FOR DYEING WITH BOTANICAL (PLANT) DYES
20230010719 · 2023-01-12 ·

A process for preparing a natural fiber fabric for finishing the fabric with a botanical dye or printing content on the fabric with a botanical dye includes washing the natural fiber fabric in a washing solution comprising approximately equal parts washing soda and baking soda dissolved in water and rinsing the washed natural fiber fabric. The process also includes pre-treating the washed natural fiber fabric with a pre-treating solution comprising a bio enzyme in water and rinsing the pre-treated natural fiber fabric. After pre-treating, a pH of the washed and pre-treated the fabric load may be neutralized with a solution comprising vinegar in water.

METHOD FOR PRINTING ON COLORED SYNTHETIC FABRICS UTILIZING A DYE DISCHARGE MATERIAL
20220403592 · 2022-12-22 · ·

Provided herein is a method for forming an image on a dyed synthetic fabric, using a dye-discharge agent, the method is effected by printing an ink composition on the fabric and applying a dye-discharge agent essentially on the same area of the ink composition, wherein applying the dye-discharge agent is effected while the ink composition is still wet (uncured), prior to a curing of the image, and followed by curing the fully formed image, whereas the dye-discharge agent discharged the dye that migrated during the curing step, but not the dyed fabric.

A dye discharge composition exhibiting extended shelf life and/or pot life and high suitability for inkjet printing on dyed substrates, is disclosed. The composition comprises a reducing agent such as, for example, a sulfur-based reducing agent, and a chelating agent, such as a sodium salt of a polyamino carboxylic acid chelating agent. Use of the dye discharge composition in combination with a translucent colored composition and an optional opaque underbase composition, for forming an image on a dyed substrate is also disclosed. Processes for inkjet printing of an image on a dyed surface using the dye discharge composition, kits for use in such processes or an ink formulation containing same are also disclosed.

PRODUCTION METHOD FOR GARMENT, DYED CLOTH, AND CHEMICAL AGENT
20220228314 · 2022-07-21 ·

[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a method for producing garments that use dyed cloth on which whiteness easily emerges due to heating by irradiation with laser or the like and which can be efficiently decolorized; dyed cloth used in production of decolorized garments; and a chemical agent used in decolorization of dyed cloth. [Solution] This production method for garments is characterized by using a heat treatment to decolorize garments which use dyed cloth containing an alkanolamine. The temperature of the heat treatment is preferably 160-180° C., and the heat treatment is more preferably a laser machining treatment.
