Conformable colored multilayer composite fabrics
An adhesive layer carrying a uniform color or a color-scheme is placed within or under a colored or color-printed conformable fabric that is simultaneously or subsequently molded into a three-dimensional shape or embossed with a three-dimensional pattern. The thermoplastic adhesive layer proceeds towards the fabric surface and matches or masks the color gaps opened on the surface by molding or embossing. The fabric can also be laminated to a backing during the molding or embossing process.
CONFORMABLE COLORED MULTILAYER COMPOSITE FABRICS

Compositions and methods for embossing and debossing fabrics
The present invention provides methods for chemically embossing and debossing fabric. A composition comprising polyvinyl alcohol is applied to fabric in the shape of a design, and the fabric is dried. Upon the fabric drying, the surface of the fabric is embossed and/or debossed in the shape of the design. In particular embodiments, the composition comprises polyvinyl alcohol that is at least about 90% hydrolyzed. A kit for embossing and/or debossing fabric includes a composition comprising polyvinyl alcohol inside of a container, and one or more applicators.
Infusion of formulated and treated silicone into silk fabric to create structure and decorative design
A multi-step process involves formulation and treatment of silicone to break the surface tension transforming silicone texture from traditional rubbery-feeling to smooth satin finish. A low viscosity, translucent silicone rubber compound is separated and cured at room temperature. Part A (Base) is modified to include silicone thinner. Part B (Catalyst) is modified to include retarder. Both Parts A and B are weighed to equal parts. Part A is further modified by including color pigment and colorized mica powder. Parts A and B are mixed at a 1:1 ratio. This formulated silicone is poured into a syringe and applied to hand-painted silk fabric to create scarf border and decorative design. Silicone is allowed to set. Silicone is then treated by: (1) applying 170 heat for period of time, contingent on air temperature and humidity; and (2) dusting and lightly brushing the silicone with a 50/50 mixture of mica and rice powder.
