The first fibers can have a creep rate of no more than 3.0×10.sup.−8 percent per second at 20° C. while subjected to a stress of 5.0 grams/dtex. The first fibers can have a creep rate of no more than 1.0×10.sup.−7 percent per second at 20° C. while subjected to a stress of 7.5 grams/dtex.

The king wire is formed of steel having a carbon content of at least 0.3 wt %. Each wire of the first layer is formed of steel having a carbon content which is less than the carbon content of the king wire. Each wire of the second layer is formed of steel having a carbon content which is greater than, or the same as, the carbon content of the wires of the first layer.
HIGH MODULUS TEXTILE CORD WITH AN AT LEAST TRIPLE TWIST
A high modulus textile cord (50) with at least triple twist (T1, T2, T3) comprises at least N strands (20a, 20b, 20c, 20d), N being greater than 1, twisted together with a final twist T3 and a final direction D2, each strand being made up of M pre-strands (10a, 10b, 10c), M being greater than 1, themselves twisted together with an intermediate twist T2 (T2a, T2b, T2c, T2d) and an intermediate direction D1 opposite to D2, each pre-strand itself consisting of a yarn (5) which has been twisted on itself beforehand with an initial twist T1 (T1a, T1b, T1c) and the direction D1, in which at least half of the N times M yarns have an initial elastic modulus denoted Mi which is greater than 2000 cN/tex. This textile cord can advantageously be used as a reinforcer in tires for vehicles, particularly in the belt or carcass reinforcement of these tires.
ELASTOMER REINFORCEMENT CORD
Provided is an elastomer reinforcement cord with improved rust resistance. An elastomer reinforcement cord 10 includes metal filaments and a polymer material. The elastomer reinforcement cord 10 has a multi-strand structure which includes: at least one core strand 21 formed by twisting plural metal filaments 1a and 1b together; and two or more sheath strands 22 each formed by twisting plural metal filaments 11a and 11b together, the sheath strands being twisted together around the core strand. An intra-sheath-strand filling rate a, which is a ratio of the area of the polymer material with respect to an intra-sheath-strand gap region A, is 52% or higher, and an inter-strand filling rate b, which is a ratio of the area of the polymer material with respect to an inter-strand gap region B, is 75% or higher.
CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENTS IN 6-STRAND SYNTHETIC TWISTED LARIAT ROPE
It refers to the invention of a 6-strand synthetic twisted lariat rope, a product used in Team Roping competitions. It is also used in cattle handling, when it is necessary to immobilize an animal, preserving its sanity and physical integrity, avoiding injuries, friction burns due to impact and/or traction. It is a dynamic, elastic, anti-static rope where the harmful effect of the impact of a sudden stop is practically nil, which follows all the requirements of the Federal Law 10.591/02. First and foremost, the animal welfare is taken into account in Team Roping competitions. The evolution of Team Roping competitions is under constant improvement in Brazil and in the world, to which the present invention brings several benefits.
Synthetic fiber rope
A synthetic fiber rope comprising:—a core, said core being a laid or braided synthetic fiber strand,—a polymer layer, said polymer layer covering said core,—a first layer, said first layer having at least six first synthetic fiber strands laid in a first direction surround said polymer layer, and—a second layer, said second layer having at least twelve second synthetic fiber strands laid in a second direction surround said first layer.
ELEVATOR LOAD BEARING MEMBER INCLUDING A UNIDIRECTIONAL WEAVE
A method of making an elevator load bearing member includes unidirectional weaving a plurality of load bearing fibers including at least a first material and a second material. A melting point of the first material is higher than a melting point of the second material. The method includes bonding the load bearing fibers together by at least partially melting at least some of the second material and coating the plurality of load bearing fibers.
Suspension wire structure and lighting device
A suspension wire structure comprises a conductive wire, a plurality of supporting stranded wires and a protective layer. The conductive wire has a first strand made of a first material. The plurality of supporting stranded wires surround the conductive wire, and each of the supporting stranded wires has a plurality of supporting strands made of a second material. The protective layer covers the surface of the conductive wire and is located between the conductive wire and the plurality of supporting stranded wires. The plurality of supporting stranded wires and the protective layer are conductive, and the protective layer is made of a third material. The first material, the second material and the third material are different from each other.
