BRAIDED ELECTRONIC DEVICE CABLE, BRAIDING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR BRAIDING AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE CABLE
20220403569 · 2022-12-22 ·

This application relates to cable assemblies with an outer (exterior) layer formed from braiding materials together. To achieve a desired pattern, a machine tool forming the outer layer undergoes several modifications. For a machine tool with two tracks (e.g., inner and outer track) with multiple carriers of material to be braided, each carrier position may include multiple bobbins, with each bobbin carrying a spool/coil of the material. During a braiding operation performed by the machine tool, each track rotates in opposite directions. Moreover, some bobbins include an arm that guides the material in a particular manner. For example, during rotation of the track, the arm provides a swinging motion, causing the material carried by the arm to move in a periodic (e.g., sinusoidal) motion. An additional track may be used to guide the arms.

ROTOR BOW COMPRISING A TUBULAR GUIDE ELEMENT, PARTICULARLY FOR A MACHINE FOR PROCESSING ELONGATE STRAND MATERIAL

Flyer bow for a wire-braiding or cable-twisting machine, comprising a bow member that has a groove extending essentially along the entire longitudinal extension of the flyer bow in the longitudinal direction of the flyer bow. The flyer bow comprises a tubular guiding element, especially a coil spring, for guiding the elongate strand-type material that is placed in the groove without interruption, essentially along the entire longitudinal extension of the groove. The inner dimensions of the groove at any point along the longitudinal extension of the guiding element are greater than or equal to the outer dimensions of the guiding element at the same point. This makes it easy to remove and introduce, preferably pull out and insert, the guiding element from and into the groove.

STRANDING MACHINE

A stranding machine is provided for producing a cord from a plurality of wires, preferably metal wires. The stranding machine has a stranding device for stranding the wires, including at least one rotatably mounted deflecting roller for deflecting the cord and at least one guide device for guiding the cord. The guide device is arranged in such a way that the cord can be guided on a straight line from the guide device to the deflecting roller in such a way that the cord is pressed against a first flank of the deflecting roller. As the cord is deflected by the deflecting roller, the cord moves from the first flank into the roller base of the deflecting roller.

Special-shaped cable core forming mechanism

A layer of wires is preliminarily stranded by a layer of strand-through holes, and a first strand cylinder is used for the second pressing and stranding. The next layer of special-shaped single wires is stranded through a second pre-stranding assembly, and then the last layer of wires is stranded through a main stranding mold, thus stranding a plurality of layers at the same time with a compact structure. The outer circumference of the guide roller matches that of the special-shaped single wire, avoiding the reduced quality of stranded cable core. The first rotating connector is bowl-shaped and is provided with a layer of strand-through holes together with a structure in which a first pull rod is in fit with the rotating connector and a structure in which a second pull rod is in fit with the rotating connector.
