Method for the manufacture of solid dosage forms
In this specification, a method for the manufacture of solid dosage forms is disclosed. The method includes extruding a plasticized matrix through an exit port of an extrusion channel to form one or more plasticized fibers, structuring said fibers to a three dimensional structural network by patterning on a translating or rotating stage, and solidifying the patterned structure.
CONTACT PRESSURE SENSOR, KNIT PRODUCT HAVING SAME, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CONTACT PRESSURE SENSOR
A contact pressure sensor detects a pressing force applied to a pressed body by a pressing body through a sensor portion disposed between the pressing body and the pressed body, wherein the sensor portion is formed of a knitting yarn including a carbon nanotube yarn, and the sensor portion includes a pressing body contact surface with which the pressing body comes into contact; a pressed body contact surface with which the pressed body comes into contact; knitting yarn intersecting portions formed between the pressing body contact surface and the pressed body contact surface; and void portions formed between the pressing body contact surface and the pressed body contact surface, the void portions being spaces in which the knitting yarn is not disposed.
Coiled actuator system and method
A method of generating a coiled actuator fiber that includes twisting a fiber to generate a twisted fiber; wrapping the twisted fiber around a core yarn or fiber to generate a coil in the twisted fiber, which generates a coiled twisted fiber; setting the coiled twisted fiber by heat or chemical treatment; and removing at least a portion of the core yarn or fiber to generate a coiled actuator fiber.
Dryer fabric with warp yarns of multiple materials
A dryer fabric has a weft of cross machine direction yarns (6) and a first warp of first machine direction yarns (5) and a second warp of second machine direction yarns (9). The yarns of the first warp are arranged above the yarns of the second warp on a first surface (FS) side. The first warp has primary yarns (51) of PPS or PK yarns whose breaking load remains substantially stable within 15 days in conditions where RH=100%, T=125° C. and p=2.3 bar; and secondary yarns (52) of PET with breaking loads which substantially decrease under the same conditions. At least every second yarn of the first warp is a secondary yarn (52). The secondary yarns (52) may be two out of three or three out of four of the first machine direction yarns (5). PET reduces cost and adds elasticity to the dryer fabric.
METALLIC REINFORCING CORD FOR TYRES FOR VEHICLE WHEELS
The invention relates to a metallic reinforcing cord (10) for tyres for vehicle wheels, comprising: —a) a plurality of metallic wires (11) twisted to one another with a single twisting pitch (P), or—b) a single metallic wire twisted with at least one second metallic wire with a single twisting pitch, or—c) a plurality of first metallic wires twisted to one another with a first twisting pitch to define a first strand of metallic wires and at least one second metallic wire twisted with said first strand of metallic wires with a second twisting pitch equal to or different from the first twisting pitch. The metallic reinforcing cord (10) has a part load elongation greater than or equal to 1%.
FEEDING METHOD OF A CARDING MACHINE IN ORDER TO OBTAIN A BLENDED YARN, YARN AND FABRIC OBTAIN WITH IT
A method of loading a carding machine for the manufacture of yarn. The method includes deriving a component load schedule with a plurality of discrete loading steps. The series of discrete loading steps comprise at least a first load amount and a second load amount, wherein the sum of the first load amount and the second load amount is a first overall load amount. The method includes loading a first amount of a first component equal to the first load amount of a discrete loading step, loading a second amount of a second component equal to the second load amount of the discrete loading step and repeating the steps of loading a first amount and loading a second amount for each of the discrete loading steps.
STRETCHABLE NANO-MESH BIOELECTRODE AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a stretchable nano-mesh bioelectrode having excellent air permeability and durability. Specifically, the stretchable nano-mesh bioelectrode includes a nanofiber elastic mesh sheet including polymer nanofibers formed by electrospinning; and a metal nanowire network having a portion impregnated onto the nanofiber elastic mesh sheet.
Hygro terry structures, articles, and related processes
A terry woven fabric includes hygro yarns structures. The hygro yarns are formed with soluble fibers, which are later removed, to define yarn structures with hollow cores.

Method for preparing microporous PVA fiber
The present application discloses a method for preparing microporous PVA fiber comprising the following steps: Step 1: preparing spinning solution, calcium hydroxide solution, and sodium sulfate solution; Step 2: cooling the spinning solution to 40-60° C., and adding a foaming agent thereto to provide the PVA spinning stock solution; Step 3: spinning into the sodium sulfate solution so that the fiber containing the reaction product of the foaming agent and the mirabilite is dehydrated to provide a primary PVA fiber; Step 4: reacting the fiber with the calcium hydroxide solution to provide a secondary fiber; Step 5: foaming and pore forming; and Step 6: cleaning and drying to provide the final product of microporous PVA fiber.
