Stents and related methods

Stents are disclosed herein. In some embodiments stents within the scope of this disclosure may comprise a first flared end and second flared end. In some embodiments, a profile of each of the first flared end and the second flared end may circumscribe a portion of separate elliptical arcs. In some embodiments, the stents are formed from braided or woven wires having a constant pitch along a middle region and continuously varying pitches along the first flared end and the second flared end. Methods of manufacturing stents are disclosed herein. Methods of using stents are also disclosed herein.

Elastically deformable braided string

An elastically deformable braided string whose intermediate part excluding both end areas can deform elastically in the direction of axis under an external pulling force, wherein the intermediate part is divided into/constituted by multiple areas having different tensile moduli in the direction of axis. The above elastically deformable braided string can be applied for various purposes.

BRAIDED ELECTRONIC DEVICE CABLE, BRAIDING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR BRAIDING AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE CABLE

This application relates to cable assemblies with an outer (exterior) layer formed from braiding materials together. To achieve a desired pattern, a machine tool forming the outer layer undergoes several modifications. For a machine tool with two tracks (e.g., inner and outer track) with multiple carriers of material to be braided, each carrier position may include multiple bobbins, with each bobbin carrying a spool/coil of the material. During a braiding operation performed by the machine tool, each track rotates in opposite directions. Moreover, some bobbins include an arm that guides the material in a particular manner. For example, during rotation of the track, the arm provides a swinging motion, causing the material carried by the arm to move in a periodic (e.g., sinusoidal) motion. An additional track may be used to guide the arms.

Tubular warp knit spacer fabric

A warp knitting system may knit a seamless tube of fabric. The fabric may have a spacer between outer and inner fabric layers. The knitting system may have first and second needle guide systems. The first and second needle guide systems may each have selectively linked needle bed sections that guide respective needles. A guide bar system may have guide bars that dispense strands of material during knitting. Each guide bar may be positioned using a respective guide bar positioner. The guide bar system may be shifted relative to the needles using a rotational positioner. The needle guide systems and guide bar system may be formed from selectively coupled links. The selectively coupled links may be configured to adjust the diameter of the tube of fabric to a desired value. The thickness of the tube may be adjusted by adjusting a gap between the first and second needle guide systems.

Braided medical devices

A braided vaso-occlusive member formed out of first plurality of filaments interwoven with a second plurality of filaments, wherein filaments of the first plurality are helically wound in a first rotational direction along an elongate axis of the braided member, and filaments of the second plurality are wound in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction, such that filaments of the first plurality cross over and/or under filaments of the second plurality at each of a plurality cross-over locations axially spaced along the elongate axis of the braided member, wherein at each cross-over location, the filaments of the first plurality cross over at least two consecutive filaments of the second plurality, then cross under only a single filament of the second plurality, and then cross over at least two additional consecutive filaments of the second plurality.

System and method for manufacturing custom-sized garments

A method for manufacturing a garment includes gathering customer data from a plurality of customers, the customer data being associated with respective ones of a plurality of garment orders and including customer information regarding at least one customizable garment parameter and generating a schedule for producing a plurality of customized garments including analyzing the at least one customizable garment parameter for the at least some of the plurality of garment orders. The method further includes manufacturing the plurality of customized garments according to the schedule.
