Device and Method for Producing a Fibrous Web
A device and a method for producing a pulp web in which the first clothing and the second clothing are wrapped partly round the forming roll and another roll. The pulp web formed is guided between the forming roll and the other roll on the first clothing and the second clothing is guided separately from the first clothing, at least in one section. This enables the pulp web to be produced with low energy consumption and operating costs.

Fiber transport apparatus and fiber transport method
A sheet manufacturing apparatus includes a case that accommodates raw material pieces including fibers, a rotator that rotates inside the case to stir the raw material pieces, a stirring motor that rotates the rotator, a transport apparatus that transports the raw material pieces through a transport path coupled to a side wall of the case, and a control apparatus that controls rotation states of the rotator and the transport apparatus, in which the transport apparatus includes a discharge pipe that rotates on a central axis along the transport path, and a transport motor that rotates the discharge pipe.
CONTROLLING THE SLICE FLOW OF A SLURRY THROUGH A HEADBOX
A method for controlling a slice flow of a slurry having two or more component slurries through a headbox for a paper making machine includes, inputting a wire speed of the paper making machine; determining a jet velocity setpoint based on the wire speed; determining a header pressure setpoint for two or more headers to generate the jet velocity determined by the jet velocity setpoint, each header providing one of the two or more component slurries to the headbox; and controlling the slice flow by: generating a first speed command to a first slurry pump to generate a header pressure determined by the header pressure setpoint in a first header; and generating a second speed command to a second slurry pump to generate the header pressure determined by the header pressure setpoint in a second header.

FOAM-BASED MANUFACTURING SYSTEM AND PROCESS
A system comprising a pulper configured to (i) accept surfactant, a liquid and fiber stock and (ii) generate a foam that suspends the fiber stock, wherein the foam has a half-life; a headbox configured to receive the foam-suspended fiber stock from the pulper and displace the foam-suspended fiber stock onto a forming wire, wherein a time it takes the foam-suspended fiber stock to move from the pulper to the headbox is less than the half-life; and a foam return device that removes at least some of the foam from the forming wire and returns the at least some of the foam to the pulper.
HEADBOX FOR MANUFACTURING A SUBSTRATE
Methods and apparatuses for producing a substrate are described. A method and apparatus for introducing a component into a fluid supply is also presented. A method can include providing a first fluid supply. The fluid supply can be configured as a foam in me embodiments. The method can also include providing a component feed system and a supply of the component. The method can include introducing the component to a fluid supply in an eductor in some aspects. A resultant slurry including a fluid supply and the component can be transferred through a headbox. The resultant slurry can be dewatered to provide a substrate including the component.
Method of and an arrangement for adding a chemical to an approach flow system of a fiber web machine
A method of and an arrangement for adding a chemical to an approach flow system of a fiber web machine by mixing of a retention chemical to a fibrous stock flowing in an approach flow system of a fiber web machine by a mixer (200) between the attenuator (16) and the headbox (18).
