LIGHT WEIGHT LINERBOARD FOR CORRUGATED BOARD
The invention relates to a method to produce a linerboard exhibiting a high bending resistance and a high compression strength, which in turn provides high resistance to interflute buckling and sagging in a thereof formed corrugated board. This is achieved by the inventive combination of an optimized fiber refining level of the furnish in each layer of the linerboard, the separate formation of the top layer and the use of a multi-layer headbox to form the two-layered ply. In addition, the linerboard made according to the invention provides good printing properties in a thereof produced corrugated board, especially in flexographic printing, without the fluting structure being negatively affected.

The present invention relates to a crescent former for producing tissue paper, the former comprising a forming section (A), a press section (B) and a drying section (C), wherein the crescent former further comprises a felt fabric (41) for carrying the stock from the forming nip (15) of the forming section (A) to the press nip (22) of the press section (B), and the felt fabric (41) being configured to carry the stock to the press nip (22) where the stock is transferred to the drying section (C), wherein further the felt fabric (41) is configured to be returned from the press nip (22) to the forming nip (15) in a return section (D) such that the felt fabric (41) forms an endless loop, wherein the return section (D) comprises a cleaning station (42), of which at least a part is arranged in a negative machine direction (-MD) in relation to a center line (R) of the forming roll (12).

A method can include providing a first fluid supply. The fluid supply can be configured as a foam in some embodiments. The method can also include providing a component feed system and a supply of the component. The method can include introducing the component to a fluid supply in an eductor in some aspects. A resultant slurry including a fluid supply and the component can be transferred through a headbox. The resultant slurry can be dewatered to provide a substrate including the component.

A wet laid process includes a method for making paper in which a composition containing co-refined cellulose fibers and cellulose ester fibers made into a thick stock composition in a machine chest, the thick stock is fed to a cleaning/screening zone through a device that regulates the flow rate of thick stock, the consistency of the thick stock fed to the screening/cleaning zone is reduced to form a thin stock composition; the thin stock composition is subjected to a process for cleaning the thin stock and feeding the cleaned thin stock through screens to form a cleaned and screened thin stock composition, and the cleaned and screened thin stock composition is fed to a headbox.
