METHOD OF PRODUCING A FILLER
The invention discloses a method of producing a filler composition to be used in paper or board production, said method comprising providing a suspension comprising calcium hydroxide and performing carbonation of the calcium hydroxide to form precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC). The invention is characterized in that starch and/or carboxy methyl cellulose (CMC) is added to the suspension during said carbonation of calcium hydroxide. The method of the invention enables an increased filler content in paper or paperboard without substantially increasing the dusting tendency or decreasing the strength of the paper or board.
Drying process
The present invention refers to a process for making a calcium carbonate containing material, wherein the process includes a specific drying procedure and allows for the provision of calcium carbonate materials with reduced moisture pick-up and low porosity.

RE-DISPERSED MICROFIBRILLATED CELLULOSE
Methods of improving the re-dispersibility of dried or at least partially dried microfibrillated cellulose, methods of re-dispersing dried or at least partially dried microfibrillated cellulose, compositions comprising re-dispersed microfibrillated cellulose and the use of re-dispersed microfibrillated cellulose in an article, product or composition; and methods of improving the physical and/or mechanical properties of re-dispersed dried or partially dried microfibrillated cellulose.
Tobacco product wrapping material with controlled burning properties
A tobacco product wrapping, material comprising composite particles is described, the composite particles being obtainable by a method in which an aqueous suspension containing calcium carbonate particles is prepared, and a metal salt comprising an aluminum cation is added. The metal salt is able to form a basic metal component in the suspension; and has a solubility of greater than 9.0 mg/L in water, measured at the pH value of the prepared suspension and at a temperature of 20° C. The invention further relates to a method for the production of the tobacco product wrapping material, the use of such tobacco product wrapping material for the production of tobacco products, and the tobacco products produced with the tobacco product wrapping material.
