WATER-RESISTANT MULTILAYERED CELLULOSE-BASED SUBSTRATE
The present invention relates to a multilayered cellulose-based substrate, comprising a cellulose-based first layer, and a cellulose-based second layer in contact with said first layer, wherein said substrate has a basis weight above 85 g/m.sup.2, wherein said first layer comprises an internal sizing agent, and wherein said second layer has been subjected to grafting with a fatty acid halide through the entire thickness of said second layer. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing the multilayered cellulose-based substrate.

DISPERSIBLE ADHESIVELY BONDED TISSUE LAMINATE
Disclosed is a dispersible adhesively bonded wet tissue laminate and more particularly a dispersible wet wipe comprising two or more adhesively bonded tissue plies. Generally, the wipe comprises first, and second tissue plies adhesively bonded to one another by an adhesive, particularly a triggerable binder, disposed at the interface of the plies. The first and second tissue plies preferably comprise fibrous tissue plies and more preferably wet-laid tissue plies consisting essentially of conventional papermaking fibers. The adhesively bonded laminates are generally strong enough to withstand use, such as having a geometric mean wet tensile strength (GMWT) greater than about 250 g/in, but disperse quickly in water, such as having a Slosh Time less than about 60 minutes.
MULTI-LAYERED PRODUCT HAVING AN EMBOSSED INTERIOR LAYER AND A METHOD FOR MAKING THE PRODUCT
A multi-layered product having an embossed interior layer is disclosed along with a method of making the product. The multi-layered product has a first layer with an interior surface, a second layer with an interior surface, and a third layer sandwiched between the first and second layers. The third layer has a first surface and a second surface and has a thickness therebetween. The third layer is embossed into a waffle pattern having a plurality of protrusions and a plurality of recesses. Each of the plurality of protrusions and recesses is adjacently aligned and horizontally offset from one another. The plurality of protrusions forms a horizontal plane, at the first surface, which is positioned above a horizontal plane formed by the plurality of recesses, at the first surface. The product also has an adhesive which secures the three layers together.

Tissue products formed from multi-apex emboss elements and methods for producing the same
Products having improved emboss definition, emboss visibility, and perceived softness are described. The tissue products comprise an emboss pattern including multi-apex, high aspect ratio embossing elements that do not suffer from the prior art issues of bunching, puckering and folding. When included in a multi-ply product, the embossed tissue also possesses less adhesive than prior art patterns resulting in a product with improved softness and drape.

WRAPPER FOR AEROSOL GENERATING ARTICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
A method of manufacturing a wrapper for an aerosol generating article includes applying an adhesive to one surface of a metal layer and attaching a first paper layer thereto, applying the adhesive to the other surface of the metal layer and attaching thereto a second paper layer different from the first paper layer, and drying the adhesive applied between the metal layer and the first paper layer and the adhesive applied between the metal layer and the second paper layer.
