Direct fixation fastener
A bonded, direct fixation fastener as supportive structure for a rail on a railroad bed comprising: a substantially rectangular rail plate, wherein the rail plate has a generally horizontal center portion having a lower face and an upper face and wherein the rail plate defines an outer perimeter having a face defining a first angle to the railroad bed, the rail plate having attachment means to attach to the rail; a substantially rectangular bottom member defines an inner perimeter having a face defining a second angle to the railroad bed; and a substantially rectangular elastomeric portion disposed between, and bonded to each of, the outer perimeter and face of the rail plate and the inner perimeter and face of the bottom member.
TRANSPARENT RAILROAD RAILSEAT ASSEMBLY
A railroad fastening system that includes a see-thru (transparent or translucent) rail seat assembly which allows for immediate visual feedback to assess whether that a sufficient amount of adhesive material has been applied to a crosstie during the installation of a rail seat assembly on a crosstie to ensure a long-lasting bond and a proper cant, flatness and height of a rail seat assembly.
Rail Fastening System
Rail fastening system for fastening at least one rail (2) to a rail substrate, preferably a solid travel path, which comprises: a rail support plate (1) arranged for holding the rail (2), wherein the rail (2) in the mounted state is in contact with the rail support plate and is fastened thereto by a rail mount (1a, 1b, 1c); a base plate (3) arranged for fastening the rail support plate (1) on the rail substrate, wherein the rail support plate (1) in the mounted state is fastened on the base plate (3) by way of one or more, preferably two, retaining elements (6) and the base plate (3) is in contact with the rail substrate; wherein the base plate (3) is of multi-part, preferably two-part, construction so that this is adjustable to different dimensions of the rail support plate (1).
TRACK RAIL FASTENING SYSTEM AND RAIL CUSHION FOR SAME
A track rail fastening system includes a rail cushion positionable laterally between a first fastener assembly and a second fastener assembly. The rail cushion includes a first full-length pad and a second full-length pad, and a pin field formed by a plurality of deformable pins. The first full-length pad and the second full-length pad define a first rail cushioning plane. The deformable pins in the pin field define a second rail cushioning plane. The cushion is deformable between a rest configuration where the cushioning planes are spaced, and a loaded configuration where the cushioning planes are co-planar. Primary, lower load deformable pins are configured to deflect such that under sufficient load both the primary, lower load deformable pins, and secondary, higher load pins engage an underlying substrate.
MULTI-MATERIAL RAIL PAD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
This disclosure relates to a rail pad including a pad matrix having a first material and at least one damping element at least partially encapsulated or embedded in the pad matrix. The damping element includes a second material. The second material includes at least one damping element having a damping factor tan delta greater than or equal to 0.5 in the audible frequency of 1000 Hz. Methods for producing the rail pad are also disclosed.
Rubber pad for rails
A rubber pad is configured to be arranged between a sleeper of a track and a rail of the track. The pad has a flat portion with a width substantially the same as a width of the sleeper; the flat portion comprises a plurality of holes.
Rail fastening system
A rail-mounting assembly (S) for fastening a rail (3) to a fixed substrate (5) with an intermediate construction (2) between the rail (3) and the fixed substrate (5) that operatively connects the rail (3) to the fixed substrate (5) in an elastic manner, and the intermediate construction (2) comprises only a elastic intermediate layer element (1; 101) that has a variable elasticity distribution across its cross-section (6) in the direction (7A) of its longitudinal extension (8) and/or in the direction (7B) transverse to its longitudinal extension (8).
Vehicle rail mounting device
A vehicle rail mounting device (10) Is provided for mounting a vehicle rail (12) on a support structure (14). The device Includes a bottom piece (16), an elastomeric bearing element (18) to be supported on the bottom piece, top cover elements (22) having elastomeric element retainers (54), a top piece (20), and rail connectors (82). The elastomeric element retainers are provided to retain the elastomeric element in place while the elastomeric element is adapted to retain the top piece, and hence the rail connectors, and therefore also the rail, in place. The top cover elements can be connected to the to the bottom and to the support structure to keep the whole device in place.
Rail pad
Rail pad, in particular for track superstructures, comprising a substantially level intermediate layer having an upper side and a lower side, wherein the upper side is designed for arrangement to a rail and the lower side for arrangement to a sleeper, wherein the upper side and/or the lower side are provided with at least one arrangement region on which the rail or the sleeper can be arranged, wherein the rail pad comprises at least one side region arranged adjacent to the intermediate layer and wherein the side region comprises an engaging section and/or a fastening section, wherein the engaging section is designed for accommodation on the sleeper, and wherein the fastening section is designed to directly and/or indirectly connect to the rail.
