Method and apparatus for deployment of a communication line onto a surface such as a roadway or pathway
A method for adhering a tubular body onto a surface that includes smoothing a portion of the surface to create a smoothed segment of the surface and applying a tubular body directly onto the smoothed segment of the surface after the smoothing of the portion of the surface. The surface at the smoothed segment is smoother than the remainder of the surface. The method further includes applying an uncured protectant onto the tubular body while the tubular body is on the smoothed segment of the surface and curing the uncured protectant into a cured protectant while the uncured protectant is on the tubular body on the smoothed segment of the surface. The cured protectant protectively encases and adheres the tubular body to the surface.
Runner segment for an edge guard of a road milling machine, and edge guard for a road milling machine
A runner segment for an edge guard includes an insertion projection that can be inserted into an insertion receptacle of the edge guard.
PICK ASSEMBLY, PROCESSING ASSEMBLY COMPRISING IT, METHOD OF MAKING IT AND METHOD OF USING IT
A pick assembly comprising a holder body, a strike body, a base body attachable to a drive mechanism, and an interference assembly comprising at least one interference member. The holder body comprises a head portion and a shaft depending from the head portion. The strike body comprises a super-hard strike tip. The head portion and the strike body are cooperatively configured such that the strike body can be attached to the head portion, the strike tip being exposed for striking a body to be degraded when in use. The base body comprises a base bore. The base bore, shaft and interference assembly are cooperatively configured such that the shaft can be secured within the base bore, the interference member disposed between the shaft and the bore. Frictional interference between the shaft, interference assembly and base bore is sufficient to prevent rotation of the shaft within the base bore in use.
Extended width dowel bar inserter
A paver for laying down a strip of concrete and, with a dowel bar inserter module as part of the paver, inserting dowel bars into and parallel with to the concrete strip. The dowel bar inserter module has an operational width capable of covering paved concrete strips of greater than 34 feet. In some implementations, the dowel bar inserter module has an operational width of 36 feet, 40 feet, or 50 feet.
Void Reducing Asphalt Membrane Emulsion
Provided herein is an asphalt membrane emulsion for reducing voids in an asphalt joint that includes asphalt, an asphalt modifier, mineral filler, an emulsifier, and water. Provided herein is a method of making an asphalt membrane emulsion, the method including: forming a first phase; forming a second phase; pumping the first phase and the second phase into a colloid mill; and mixing the first phase and second phase into the colloid mill to form the asphalt membrane emulsion. The first phase includes asphalt, asphalt modifier, and mineral filler. The second phase includes water and an emulsifier. A method of applying an asphalt membrane emulsion to fill a crack is also provided.
Concrete and masonry restoration and ornamentation method and apparatus
A method and apparatus are provided to rehabilitate and beautify cracked concrete surfaces by adding channels to the surface.
Vibratory grouting drilling rig with auxiliary moving mechanism
A vibratory grouting drilling rig includes: a drilling rig bracket, a moving bracket, and a driving mechanism mounted on the drilling rig bracket for driving the moving bracket to move; wherein a working bracket is slidingly mounted on the moving bracket, and a sliding direction of the working bracket is identical to a moving direction of the moving bracket; a vibratory grouting rod and a drilling rod are mounted on the working bracket; multiple flexible connectors are connected between the working bracket and the drilling rig bracket, and are arranged along the moving direction of the moving bracket; the flexible connectors go around an end of the moving bracket and are connected to the drilling rig bracket. When the moving bracket moves, the flexible connectors pull the working bracket to move relative to the moving bracket, thus providing extra drilling force.
APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR CONCRETE GROOVING
A concrete grooving apparatus comprising a skid and an alignment apparatus coupled with a top surface of said skid and a grooving element coupled with a bottom surface of said skid, wherein said alignment apparatus is adapted and configured to identify a desired path of said skid across an uncured concrete surface and wherein said grooving element is adapted and configured to introduce a groove into said uncured concrete surface corresponding to said desired path.
Concrete cutting machine and sliding plate assembly for a concrete cutting machine
A concrete cutting machine, for wet and dry dual-use cutting, includes a saw blade, which is configured to cut concrete, a motor, which is configured to drive the saw blade to rotate about a first axis, and a bottom plate, which is configured to support the motor and the saw blade. The bottom plate is formed with a first cutting space for the saw blade to pass through. The concrete cutting machine further includes a sliding plate assembly, which is at least partially disposed in the first cutting space, to form a second cutting space smaller than the first cutting space.
Integrated form for embedding a waterstop in a keyed concrete joint
Disclosed herein is an article of manufacture that increases the efficiency of forming a building material having a keyed joint with a waterstop imbedded within the building material. The article allows the easy formation of a keyed joint between formed solid slabs (typically concrete) with a waterstop properly imbedded between the slabs.
