Asphalt Cutting Attachment
The present invention is directed to a new and improved asphalt cutter attachment for cutting asphalt surface of a roadway or the like, for example, for facilitating cutting an edge of a roadway or driveway for repairing and installing new asphalt. The attachment includes an elongated baseplate having a top and bottom surface, a plurality of angularly disposed cutting teeth positioned along said bottom surface, and an engagement plate including an engagement channel for receiving the lower edge of an earth moving bucket.
Roadway Safety-Edge-Forming Device
A roadway safety-edge-forming device is provided. The device is comprised of a body that can be attached to a blade of a grader or other similar machinery. The body is comprised of a plurality of edges. A portion of said edges extend below the bottom edge of the blade of the grader. As a result, the edges of the body create a channel within the ground surface/aggregate as the blade moves along said surface. The channel produced is sufficient to act as a safety edge.
Methods, compositions and systems for enhancing the useful life of a transportation surface
Methods, compositions and systems for prolonging the lives of transportation surfaces, including pavement, runways, bridges and parking structures include physically altering the transportation surface and chemically protecting the transportation surfaces. Physical alteration of a transportation surface may include physically altering one or both of a microtexture and a macrotexture of the transportation surface. Chemical protection of a transportation surface may include hardening and/or densifying the transportation surface. The transportation surface may be chemically protected while physically altering the transportation surface or after the transportation surface has been physically altered.
CONCRETE GROOVING TOOL
An impact groover for forming joints or grooves in hardening concrete is provided. The impact groover provides a planar base having a groover blade extending along a bottom portion thereof. On a top portion of the planar base is a pedestal disposed over a front portion of the groover blade. The pedestal defines a receiving cavity for seating an impact pin, so that a user can hammer-strike the impact pin to urge the groover blade into hardening concrete.
Attachment device for floor shaving systems
An attachment device for floor shaving systems includes a machine mounting coupler and a tool receptacle that are joined at a compound angle to position a scraping tool off the center axis of a scraping machine. The mounting coupler is constructed from solid steel bar and has a shape and a size that is complementary to the tool receiver of a scraping machine and is secured within the receiver via a mounting pin. The tool receptacle is constructed from steel and includes a hollow channel with a magnet on one end and an opening on the other end for receiving and engaging the shaft of a scraping tool and permitting the same to rotate 360 degrees. The mounting coupler and tool receptacle are joined at an angle of 11 degrees to permit the blade of the tool to engage expansion joint intersections diagonally to prevent damage to concrete.
Attachment device for floor shaving systems
An attachment device for floor shaving systems includes a machine mounting coupler and a joint that connects the mounting coupler to a tool receptacle. A receiving block is configured to engage the mounting coupler and an inside edge of a tool receiver of a floor scraping machine to secure the mounting coupler to the floor scraping machine.
