MILLING MACHINE FOR ROAD SURFACES OR PAVEMENTS
The invention relates to a milling machine (100) comprising a bottom side (11) on which at least two milling heads (1a-1f) are individually movable and controllable in at least one translational movement (15a-15f) in one transverse rail (13a-13f) each, the rails running parallel to one another.
GRINDING MACHINE ADAPTABLE TO GROUND CONTOURS
Disclosed herein are vehicle mounted grinding machines adaptable to ground contours. Embodiments relate to a grinding machine with a vehicle mount configured to attach a housing body, including a grinding drum to a vehicle. One embodiment of the disclosure relates a pair of guides on opposing sides of a blade set of a grinding drum, where each of the pair of guides is horizontally aligned with the grinding drum. In another embodiment, the housing body is configured to roll about a travel direction relative to the vehicle mount. In another embodiment, the grinding machine includes an alignment motor configured to laterally translate the housing body relative to the vehicle mount and perpendicular to a travel direction.
DIRECTIONAL WARNING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A one-way recessed directional rumble strip system for controlling both direction and speed of traffic is described. The recessed directional rumble strip system includes a plurality of recessed directional rumble strips having a descending surface and a rumble face. Vehicles approaching the recessed directional rumble strip from a correct direction of travel are allowed to pass over the recessed directional rumble strip with little or no effect on the vehicle. Vehicles attempting to pass from the wrong direction will engage the features of the recessed directional rumble strip. This will affect an operating condition of the vehicle to change such as to cause a tactile and audible sensation to the driver. Indicia may be provided on the steep face to warn drivers that they are traveling in the wrong direction.
MAGNETIC MARKER, EMBEDDING JIG FOR MAGNETIC MARKER, AND EMBEDDING METHOD FOR MAGNETIC MARKER
A magnetic marker is embedded in a road, and is configured to be detected by a magnetic sensor provided in a vehicle. The magnetic marker is provided with a case accommodating a magnet and a protective material covering the magnet, and an anchor that is provided protruding downward from the case and that is configured to expand in diameter in a state of being embedded in the road.
Method and apparatus for deployment of a communication line onto a surface such as a roadway or pathway
A method for adhering a tubular body onto a surface that includes smoothing a portion of the surface to create a smoothed segment of the surface and applying a tubular body directly onto the smoothed segment of the surface after the smoothing of the portion of the surface. The surface at the smoothed segment is smoother than the remainder of the surface. The method further includes applying an uncured protectant onto the tubular body while the tubular body is on the smoothed segment of the surface and curing the uncured protectant into a cured protectant while the uncured protectant is on the tubular body on the smoothed segment of the surface. The cured protectant protectively encases and adheres the tubular body to the surface.
Reduced volume sonic noise alert pattern grinder and method
A pavement grinding apparatus moves along a direction of travel and includes a cutting assembly. The cutting assembly has a grinding carriage; the grinding carriage including a rotating arbor having cutting elements. A control wheel is in contact with the pavement and connected to the grinding carriage to impart a cyclical up and down movement to the grinding carriage. The control wheel includes equally spaced apart lobes on the periphery of the control wheel that move the arbor in a sinusoidal up and down pattern.
LED ACTIVE-LUMINOUS TRAFFIC MARKING BASED ON LIGHT-TRANSMITTING CONCRETE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to an LED active luminous traffic marking based on light-transmitting concrete and a construction method thereof. The luminous traffic marking includes a light-transmitting concrete layer and a light source layer that are arranged vertically, where the light-transmitting concrete layer includes a concrete base and a plurality of light-guide fibers embedded in the concrete base, the light source layer includes an integrated LED light source board and a packaging protective shell for packaging the integrated LED light source board, the packaging protective shell is a shell with anchoring hollow protrusions, and the packaging protective shell is anchored to the concrete base through the anchoring hollow protrusions. Compared with the prior art, the present disclosure improves the visibility, digitalization and intelligence level of road traffic markings, and has a broad application prospect.
MATERIAL REMOVAL MANUFACTURE, ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
Milling-drumless products, systems, manufactures, and methods for removing material, such as concrete or asphalt, and a system and method of assembling material removal (for example, grinding and/or cutting) blade elements, or blade elements and spacers, to fabricate a configuration that eliminates a need for a large milling drum are provided. The method allows the configuration to be adjusted easily in a field situation to most any material removal width by exchanging, adding or subtracting blade elements and/or spacers.
